  1. I was guessing that they were only getting about 1.17 jiggawatts to the flux capacitor.
  2. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/9233/ouchti3.jpg Haha, this is where I lived while going to UW-Milwaukee. It burned down the day before the shootings at Columbine, April 19th 1999. I can't believe it is still a grass lot. Yikes.
  3. Yes, MLB.tv is blacked out for fans in the Milwaukee area. It is also blacked out for nationally televised games.
  4. Jackson Pantera edit: That must be what all this emo talk is in that picture above.
  5. inslut? Sounds like a way to get some diseases. Stay far away from me.
  6. Hang on a minute. Weren't you advocating taking the players year-to-year to minimize risk because of all of the bad multi-year deals in the past?
  7. Mass Haas linked to this article here: http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=11004
  8. Thank you for that. Holy crap! hahahaha
  9. Shame on those fans who want to support their team!
  10. Man, I thought I had a lot of time on my hands!
  11. link please edit: nevermind. It looks like that is old news, he resigned as a member of the board back in 2002. The MLB board allowed him to become an owner after that, and that is good enough for me. edit 2: He obviously made money in many other ventures than just that one. If he truly was looked at as a dirty businessman, who in their right mind would allow him to keep getting in big deals? This is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
  12. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that google did save gypcasino.
  13. You do realize that no one is advocating getting rid of either player right!?!? Nowhere did I say to get rid of either player.
  14. Nickelwho? You'd say the same about the music I listen to. I'm not big into mainstream stuff. I couldn't name a single song from Nickelback.
  15. One of the men is wearing glasses. He takes off his glasses, puts a drop of water on the lense to act as a magnifier and uses the sun's glare to create fire.
  16. An airplane is on a conveyor. The conveyor is set to match the speed of the airplane in the backwards direction. However fast the plane moves, the conveyor moves just as fast. Can the plane take off?
  17. Thanks for the heads up, now I won't even need to read the news or watch this site to see what happens. It's too bad that he's gotta go. I do understand the reasoning, although I like the sort of character he is. Something tells me that he keeps people loose in the clubhouse even when he is on the DL. Granted the Brewers could pay someone much less than what Sheets is getting paid to do it, but I always liked who Sheets was. Why am I going past-tense all of a sudden? Oh that's right, because it's a foregone conclusion that his final year in Brew City is upon us. Or so it seems.
  18. link Let's see if he can find any sort of redemption under the pressure cooker in Boston.
  19. Apparently thin, beautiful women are way too commonplace in south Florida. They need some other kind of shock value.
  20. Hall, Clark, Turnbow, Suppan, Sheets, etc... none of these players had historic seasons leading in to their contracts. They were more of a gamble. What I'm more focused on are the Fielder and Braun situations. Both of those players did have historic seasons last year. Fielder being the youngest player ever to hit 50 HR in a season (beating Willie Mays) and Braun slugging .634, the highest rookie slugging % of all time. This is a whole new level of player we are looking at. If ownership is going to base their extensions off of the history of subpar players in relation to Fielder and Braun, then we don't have much to look forward to as fans in my opinion.
  21. You know what, that's a good point. From here on out, don't sign any one of the youngsters to a long term deal because nothing has worked out in the past. Yikes.
  22. Is there exclusivity in being a fan of something and making money from it?
  23. You come to your conclusion based on one year of the Suppan and Hall deals?
  24. All I know is that looking at ball four and swinging and missing at it have two very different outcomes.
