  1. "Bring out your dead!" "But I'm not dead yet!"
  2. I definitely plan on going. It's only about a 4 hr drive for me, so I'm going to do all that I can to make it happen.
  3. Interesting fact from the chat log - Prince won the 'Golden Sledge' award last year for the longest Home Run average, which was 408 ft.
  4. I set up a trampoline in my living room. Before running and jumping on it and flying at the wall with wild abandon, I eat 3 bowls of Lucky Charms. This makes me puke rainbows while flying through the air. This is how I deal.
  5. The bar tender at my uncle's bar that hung out with me from after her shift and the Packers game until now - drinking drinks and talking about life and just being an absolute stunner... I think I'm in love...maybe that's just the alcohol talking but I think we had a real connection. Tara, I'll see you again soon. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. "Needless to say, I skipped washing my hands that day." I've had one experience in my life where I was completely turned off from the post-pee hand wash. It involved a bathroom in Texas. My co-workers went in to the bathroom before me and did what they had to do. On my way in, I noticed that neither washed their hands. Puzzled and curious, I went on with my business and after finishing, walked up to the sink. Someone left a fecal log in the sink that would make a cheesemaker proud. Yeah, I passed.
  7. Just look at that (not literally) as motivation. Do you want to look like that Jamie? Keep on workin out. My pointless point: Losing health insurance sucks.
  8. "One look at Ripken's career stats in September will tell you how important it is for a player to be rested and at near full strength. " Because we all know that one player's performance indicates how the rest of the entire world would perform.
  9. Dude pitches in Major League Baseball, and he shouldn't have confidence? Yikes.
  10. Something tells me that MLB would rather keep all of its teams than kill the DH.
  11. I do what I can. :D

  13. Interesting talk about the potential new 3B coach going on here
  14. I just bought a 2005 Accord and I love it. It's got everything: V6, Navigation, XM radio, sunroof, heated seats, dual zone climate control, etc. For the cost, I could've gotten a used Infiniti G35 (which I have a soft spot for) but I decided on the Accord as it has so much more bang for the buck. The one I got was a Honda Certified Used Car which means it still carries the factory warranty as well as a 100K Powertrain, transmission, transaxle warranty. The mileage is decent considering it's a V6, I get about 27-28 on the highway and 24ish when driving through town.
  15. I spend about $200 a week eating out. Good thing it's per diem I guess.
  16. I still say it's Helmut Golfski. If it's not, he should change his name to that.
  17. Let's just hope he has the opportunity to reach 200 innings. Maybe tell him not to hang out with Sheets in the off-season.
  18. Helmut Golfski
  19. Link hmmm.
  20. I have been thinking about this the last couple of days - whether or not the Brewers make the playoffs, it's great to see the kids make a run and actually push the much much higher paid Cubs to the limit.
  21. It'd be a good idea to cancel your WoW account if you want to make sure to succeed in school - otherwise that might take over your life.
  22. "Could anyone picture him running local kids baseball leagues?" Kids, always remember. When in doubt, swing.
  23. On a similar but unrelated note, I was at the UNLV-UW game in Vegas last night. No exaggeration at all - about 9 out of every 10 fans there were wearing Badger gear. "Let's go Badgers" was deafening. I saw 2 guys I went to high school with. They were sitting in the section I was in. Small world.
  24. I'd like to nominate Ron Santo for the World's Worst Colorman EVER. "He really kept his feet together on that swing. Did you see that?" Well Ron, actually I am listening to the game, so that would be no. "GYAAAHD." Good call on that Weeks HBP Ron. "Oh my gosh... Don't do this to us Bobby" Do what Ron? We can't see the game. "Boy is this crowd alive tonight! Man O-Live" huh? Thanks a lot XM radio for playing the Cubs broadcast. Pat Hughes isn't so bad, but Santo is just dreadful to listen to. It's comical how bad he is.
