  1. You're, not your.
  2. I wake up in the morning, go about my day...seems to do the trick.
  3. If he wasn't happy not closing for the Braves, why would he be happy not closing for the Brewers?
  4. Jeffress line: 8Ks, 4 IP, 0 hits allowed. Not too shabby. 4BBs, 2ER. A little shabby.
  5. Stop fudding on Jenkins.
  6. That's awesome Brian, congrats. I voted Uecker.
  7. You do realize this thread started before Gross went on his hot streak? You do realize when a lot of the love in this thread started coming in?
  8. I know you've stuck behind him Brian.
  9. It's easy to like guys on hot streaks.
  10. I saw him play in Huntsville last month. He definitely is thin. Rail thin. But he was very slick in the field - made every play that came his way except for a slow roller that he tried to bare-hand and throw to first, couldn't quite pick it. That would have been an outstanding play, so you can't hold that against him. He does have a rocket arm. All things considered, we should be excited for his future.
  11. Notice how it's in quotes? That's what the inmate wrote.
  12. Ned has a lot of statistics at his disposal. Statistics such as spray charts, which show the side of the field each hitter hits to by percentage. If a hitter is coming up that pulls the ball quite a bit more than he hits it the opposite way, it makes sense to put more fielders on that side of the field.
  13. There's a difference between reviewing and selling to the public a video of the recently deceased.
  14. I'm glad they are having this slump now, and not later on in the season. It's all about peaking late.
  15. His name is in red text in the original post - click on it.
  16. I don't think the point is that he's wearing armor. It's that the armor essentially functions as a swing coach.
  17. I got the same feeling, but at the same time some of the points do make sense. At what point did you consider the list absurd?
  18. Did you read the article? Basically the body armor is more of a machine that forces his swing to be perfect every time. He is only allowed to use it because he has been 'grandfathered' in, new players can't wear one unless they have proof of an injury. Regardless, it's not technically "cheating." So if it was found out that Tiger Woods had some sort of implant in his arm that forced his swing to be perfect every time, it would be allowable and not considered cheating? Also - steroids have always been illegal. Baseball does not supersede the law. Just because steroids weren't against the rules of baseball at one point doesn't make it okay for players to have taken them during that time.
  19. So what does that mean? Your last chance doesn't mean squat. Let Ned do his job. http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/tongue.gif haiku
  20. Alcides Escobar actually is a shortstop, and an outstanding one at that. He has a rifle arm and makes major league plays. After seeing him play in Huntsville, I'd say his defense looks major league ready. The bat is another story, and he could also use a few more pounds on his frame. Like 50+ pounds.

  22. That's great. Good find.
  23. What do you think about this? Another way for Bonds to cheat? (consolidated tags --1992)
  24. Heavy P - Now that we've found Glove (what are we gonna doooo, with iiiit?) http://www.brewerfan.net/images/articlepix/princefielder.jpg
  25. I love how he throws so much fire and brimstone in there yet keeps it PG-13. That takes skill.
