    OWBC you were right the pictures were sad and scary and to think it was less then 20ish miles from me. Looked like a tornado you would see in tornado alley not in northern ill.

    Personally they will have to start think about a new park when the first wave of other parks start going down.. i.e. (Rangers, O's, Indians) But a discussion that is not really needed now especially with all the small upgrades they do every off season.

    Live in Kenosha really really hoping that the EURO model pans out or moves a bit south so we see more snow then rain. But warm lake is going to work aganst us. What do you think for us OWBC?

    Love the deal for the Mets! And like others have said i will eat crow come September if he replicates the year he had this year! But i just don't see it. Take my chance with the prospects they got!

    Give me Segura! SS is hard to come by and rumors are that Bauer may have "some issues" While i like him i'd much rather have what we have right now at SS!

    Ok let me take that back.. If it was just Myers and Odorizzi i would be fine but way way way way to much for what you got back.

    Jake Odorizzi is also in the deal from what i am seeing. Personally i like the trade for the Royals. Yeah they are giving up a lot but they are only missing pitching from being a threat to make the playoffs! I'd book them for a spot next year!

    DHonks, i don't disagree he deserves that amount you suggest. My offer was just based on baggage and if it truly is a soft market maybe we could get him for a huge steal. I just would not commit 30ish million to him!

    I have adopted the Royals as my AL team the last couple of years and they love this kid. But they want pitching if they move him and ace pitching at that. No way i move YO for him but i'd at least ring Moore's phone and see if they have any interest in at least talking trade. I'd love to make a move to get Hosmer now if he was on the market!

    Bet it ends up in the 148 million range. Anyone think that 6th year might be a club/player option. Said all along Dodgers were the team that would get him. Loved the chances more when reports were out there that they were starting to think about going in a diff. direction. Should be great in that home park!

    So who is playing center now for the Twins? I know they have a pretty good CF in AA but i would hope they find a stop gap and just don't hand over the CF duty to him? Personally love the trade for the Twins and i think that Worley could actually pitch better at Target Field. As for trading Gomez for that package. I'd think about it but i'd still be trying to sign him to a long term deal if he has anything close to the season he had last year he will be wanted on the FA market!

    I'd look at Jackson on a two year 15.5 million dollar deal with a team option for the third year. But there has to be some under lying issue for all the trades like other posters have said.

    Still like the trade for the Phillies. Def. seem like they are going for it this year! I always liked Young and 5 years or so ago wanted the Brewers to get him!

    Injury risk is there for McCarthy but he was one of the FA pitchers that i really wanted to the Brewers to look at. I was thinking two years and 15 million but i would have been happy if the Brewers could have got him for that. Not the biggest fan of Dempster especially at three years. Wonder if we are not looking at going the trade route!

    Personally would not go after Upton! Think he is a great talent and is young, but the D-backs must know or think they know something that they want to get rid of him right now. I'd assume it would take a package of MLB ready players/prospects and some younger prospects.

    No way the Brewers do that trade. While Weeks is having a down year and that's putting it lightly i doubt they take that trade if it was ever offered. I still think Weeks is going to snap out of it but it's getting more and more tough to buy in to that. If i was looking to move Weeks i would be moving him for prospects and to move the money off the books.

    Thinking that this ball park and lineup should set up nice for Fiers! Lets go Brewers lets win today and get this series! Thinking Weeks might have a big role in todays game.
