  1. Well i am really really excited for first pitch tommorow! Lets hope Perez has a similar outing as the one he turned in last opening day.. GO BREWERS!!!
  2. Well Koskie getting hit is not the best thing in the world. But looks like he is going to be ok.. Last thing we need is him to get injured been on fire this spring.
  3. I agree with that sentiment. I voted yes because he never tested positive for steroids. The fact that he was never given the opportunity to test positive isn't his fault, it's MLB's. You always seem to sum up my paragraphs with a couple sentences!
  4. McGwire is in the Hall of Fame like another poster said he is innocent till proven guilty and at this stage in the game it's a little hard to prove him guilty till he comes out and states the fact. While i believe he might have taken steriods there is no proof and because of those facts i would vote him in.
  5. The Brewers coming off a 7-3 homestand head out on there final road trip of the year. Doug Davis takes the hill tonite with a quest to help the brewers complete there first winning season since 1992. Davis has been nothing short of dependable where as his run support has been sporadic at best. Coming in to tonite's matchup aganst the Pirates and Oliver Perez, Davis has a 11-11 record and a 3.85 ERA in 2005. A win tonite aganst the Pirates will push Davis to 12-11 and put a cherry on top of a darn good season. The Pirates send Oliver Perez to the mound tonite. Perez's season has been nothing short of a disaster. A mix of bad outings and DL stints has put this Pirates ace out of what many thought could have been a great season. Entering tonite's matchup Perez has a 7-5, with a 5.97 ERA in 2005. Most of the damage coming before he went on the DL. Perez has been touched up by the Brewers he is 0-1 this season with a 10.80 ERA lets hope the good times continue to roll tonite and the brewers keep the march to 83 wins going. TV/Radio As always you can listen to the brewers on the brewers radio network or on FSN North. So grab your cardboard O's and your Carlos Lee horses and lets cheer on the Brewers. On deck? Saturday: at Pirates, 6:05 p.m. CT ? Sunday: at Pirates, 12:35 p.m. CT
  6. OH yeah what a great night in whitewater... Drinks all night off to bed! Got some classes and work tommorow... later
  7. Have fun Steve, hopefully Bonds will be in the lineup tonite. But i for one would love to go to Petco Park someday! Happy Birthday!
  8. With Cappy going tonite i am feeling good about the game tonite. I am really thinking we will hit around Harang and move two games over .500. Please oh Please don't let this streak come to an end!
  9. I am the only one he like Ryan Freel alot.
  10. Yankees' pitchers looking terrible today, Yikes, they hit a grand slam and they still are losing by 6. I think we'll be seeing Burnett in the Yankee pinstripes before too long. Yeah but he has bust written all over him. And it is going to take a lot more then Burnett to fix the holes in the ship that is the yankees. Carlos is really making me eat my words when it comes to making fun of his defense. Granted it is not pretty but it gets the job done, and last time i checked there were not extra syle points given for prety catches. good D Carlos!
  11. Come on guys, the brewers are winning. Group Hug Time!!!
  12. Well that was an interesting cut to our manager with his hands in his pants.. is he cold?
  13. I guess Glover would not hurt. But i would bring up little ben if it was my choice? Oh well!
  14. The real question is how many games until Dusty ruins Williams' arm? That is a great question which brings up another, how long do the cubs keep Dusty as there manager? He really has done nothing for them and in my eyes actually cost them a couple of seasons in which they might have been in the playoffs. I know that we hate to play the what if game. But what if Dusty did not overuse wood and prior? Would they be better? I think they would? Would they compete with the Cards for the division? i think they would!
  15. I am also really excited for this game. Hopefully Davis can hold down the Cubs and we can score some runs and start this series off well!
  16. Rivals unite again in Miller Park as your Milwaukee Brewers come home to the Keg to take on the Cubs. The Brewers send left hander Doug Davis to mound with a record of 10-10 with a 3.95 ERA in 2005. His counterpart on the hill will be Jerome Williams. Williams has a record of 5-8 and a 4.30 ERA in 2005. His numbers aganst the Brewers are even higher with a 1-1 record and a even 6.00 ERA this year. Hopefully the bats will wake up in this series and the Brewers can again start on there march to .500. Pitching Matchup CHC: RHP Jerome Williams MIL: LHP Doug Davis TV/RADIO The Brewers will once again be on FSN North. If you would rather listen to the brewers tune in to the crew on the milwaukee brewers radio network. Looking Ahead Looking ahead the road to .500 does not get any easier as the brewers welcome in the cardinals. Good news is that the Cards have won the division and will most likely be sitting some of there starters. But it will still be a tough matchup with there pitching. ? Wednesday: vs. Cubs, 6:35 p.m. CT ? Thursday: vs. Cubs, 1:05 p.m. CT ? Friday: vs. Cardinals, 7:05 p.m. CT edit: You keep forgetting the date in the subject -ja002h
  17. The Milwaukee Brewers continue on there road trip. This time stoping in Texas to face Roy Oswalt and the Houston Astros. After taking the series aganst the Diamondbacks and exploading for 14 runs in the last game of the series the Brewers will have there hand full with hard throwing Oswalt. Hopefully the Brewer bats will still be white hot from there showing yesterday and they can get off to a good start in Houston. Milwaukee sends Rick Helling to the mound he is sporting a 1-0, 0.00 ERA vs. HOU in 2005 and overall has been done very well this season in his couple of appreances. Pitching Matchup: MIL: RHP Rick Helling ? 2-0, 2.40 ERA in 2005 HOU: RHP Roy Oswalt ? 17-12, 2.93 ERA in 2005 On television/Radio ? MIL: FSN/ Radio: Brewer's Radio Network. * This will also be the only game of the series that you can catch on FSN. Quick Hits: Ryan Braun Brewers 2005 first-round pick served as bat boy on thursday he had this to say ""I feel like I contributed something." I think i speak for all brewerfan.net when i say don't worry Ryan the days will come when we will argue if you should start or platoon! Just kidding! Also J.J. Hardy has a inflamed big toe. He is listed as day to day and is a game time decision today. Hopefully JJ can go because he has been red hot the last couple of weeks!1 On deck ? Saturday: at Astros, 6:05 p.m. CT ? Sunday: at Astros, 1:05 p.m. CT ? Tuesday: vs. Cubs, 6:35 p.m. CT you forgot the date -ja002h
  18. Oh well It was a hard loss to watch but a great game on a hump day entering Thirsty Thursday!
  19. I will not talk about the Wild Card until we sweep the astros. If we do not. I don't see a reason to talk about it at all. Especially if we lose tonite and sunday... But i am jacked for this game tonite and i am skipping the Whitewater Warhawks game to watch some brewers tonite. Don't know if i would have done that last year... Go brewers... I think we are in for a low scoring game. I think that the brewers will win 2-1
  20. This is the most excited i have been for a brewers series in.... well i don't know when... Go Brewers!!!
  21. well if our History of playing well aganist good Pitchers it should be a good series for the Crew ,because can"t get much better than these 3. and we do we get them again when we go to Houston Then if that's the case lets call the astros and see if they will give us 5 out of six. Just joking!
