  1. This was a nice thing for me today in an auction draft. I nominated Madson in a normal spot where he would be, and he ended up going for $10. Then I got Marshall with my second to last pick for $1. Regardless of this injury I think the Reds are the best team in the division. Madson's nothing special.
  2. Just seems like such a waste with Orton. I generally am interested in his matches, and this makes that less so. I really never care about Cena's matches, so this would be a good fit for him, I guess. It also keeps him away from the good workers and lets them wrestle each other and have good matches.
  3. I also much prefer guys who had shorter careers but had dominant stretches, and Young isn't really that.
  4. Well, at least the scoreless streak was only five and a half minutes tonight. Hopefully there won't be a second one.
  5. I was saying Albert and Cena will feud. Cena is like Hogan now where you just give him a generic monster guy to beat, I think.
  6. He's going to come in to work Cena, which is fine.
  7. Weeks is probably more valuable to the Brewers than he would be on the market.
  8. I don't ever like ending Wrestlemania with a non-clean finish. And Miz is sooooo cold right now. I don't think anything short of supremely drastic (like storyline breaking Cena's neck or something) would get him over enough to be the top heel, and that might even be pushing it. He has go away heat happening right now. He needs a vacation and some time off of TV to help freshen him up a little bit. They should have babyfaced him instead of Truth when they broke up, to begin with.
  9. No, he's not. Pretty good player, though, and he got to hit in a great park.
  10. Good thing I DVR Doomsday Preppers.
  11. If they involve the Miz in the main event at Mania, I will quit watching.
  12. He most likely still won't stick in the IF for long. Aside from a very small MLB sample saying he is a good defensive 3B, I don't think anyone who watched him play the position would say he is good there or will stick. He seems destined for LF.
  13. I love my Roku. I wouldn't have DirecTV if not for the Brewers.
  14. Yeah, I wouldn't mind at all. Any time you can get set prices for arby years is a good thing.
  15. Just watched the MU game after getting home from work and have decided that Crowder is my favorite MU player ever. He is so fun to watch.
  16. 2000 was awesome. I love that team. Every single one of them.
  17. Honestly, I am happy to see the ratings are poor for Raw again this week. Maybe that will put some sense into them and force them to create some new stars. Hopefully people are getting sick of seeing the old guys again.
  18. Yeah, there is no shame at all in having a first round pick develop into a good reliever.
  19. I didn't like anything from this Raw aside from the Sheamus and Ziggler match.
  20. If HHH had any sense for the business (aside from positioning himself to look good) he would be in a match with a guy like Ziggler and would put him over strong and make him. Instead, Mania will do a strong buyrate (which it would if it was main evented by you and I headlining it in a cage match because of the strength of the brand) and HHH will take some credit for it, even though he'll have zero impact on the number. It's similar to when he weaseled his way into the Punk angle last summer because he saw it was hot and figured he'd steal some heat. Basic Kliq/HHH/Nash business. Of course, as per usual when Paul gets involved, it immediately started to suck. This Mania is being sold on the name, The Rock/Cena, and Taker's streak (which has barely been mentioned in this build so far, oddly). I will never understand why they wouldn't surround those matches with star-making booking for the young guys that are going to be counted on to sell tickets and PPV's and draw ratings for the rest of the year. Some of it would fall flat, because some guys won't be able to cross that threshold and become a star, but that's natural. Instead, no one becomes a star. I was feeling like Sheamus was on the verge for a while after the Rumble, but he has really tailed off due to them doing nothing with him since. Someone needs to have the proverbial rocket strapped to their back and be pushed to the top. That someone is clearly Dolph Ziggler. His 30 seconds in the 12 man match is going to be great...
  21. By the looks of it now, the MITB PPV is happening this year. Also, the "waste of talent" match for Mania has been confirmed - 12-Man tag to decide control of Raw and Smackdown.
  22. I'm a fan of Gonzalez, but I hope people temper their expectations here. He is what he is and there will be plenty of times when he is very frustrating with the bat. I love his glove, though.
  23. I think so many of us jumped on those bandwagons thanks to the bad MLB team and Jim Powell's Down On The Farm updates during the radio broadcasts, along with the Link Report (of course). I know that's why I did.
  24. The entire 1990's, pretty much.
