  1. I have to agree with Ennder. I think the Cardinals are no different than the O's. Sure, they started off hot, but it's a long season. I think eventually they will wear down and fall back.
  2. Agreed. Our BP really cost us the playoffs last year, of course, our defense didn't help matters either.
  3. Time to think positive! http://www.red-hot-mama.com/images/uploads/CIN.gif
  4. but look where that season went. nowhere. True, but if you are saying that it's not the most important HR because the season ended without a playoff appearance, how can you say that Prince's HR is the tops, when we don't know how this season will finish?
  5. Wow, pulled that one out. Last thing i wanted was to get swept out of STL. Now let's hope the guys get thier stuff together and get us some wins in cinci.
  6. If we are still struggling this bad when cameron is in the lineup on a consistant basis, then i'll worry. Till then, i'll just mark it up to an early season slump.
  7. We aren't even 1/10th o the way thru the season yet, and two very important parts to our team(Yo and Cameron) have yet to play at all. I think the ship helps right itself once we get them back onboard. Till then, I'm viewing over .500 as a positive step.
  8. Jeez, this is huge if it's the achilles. Soriano is a big bat in thier lineup, and losing him for the season really hurts their chances to win the division.
  9. Agreed. At this point, anything less than a quality start(if not better) gets him sent to the Pen IMO.
  10. Same here. I always laugh(even at home). How dare they try and keep the runner close!
  11. Wouldn't shock me if someone signs him right before we play them. Seriously, all these old catchers are bring back bad memories for me.
  12. Ah, unless he wins the two after that, then he's a winner again!
  13. Jenkins is my favorite post 80s player for the Brewers. I'll be giving him a standing O even if i am watching from home. He has been Mr Brewer for several years.
  14. Wings up 2-0 makes me happy. Too bad i know they are just gonna lose in the conference championship round anyways.
  15. Ugh, i go to work at 2, so i miss the end of the game. Hopefully we are blowing em out by that point.
  16. Well, Cards won it in 10, which sucks. But the Cubs and Reds both lost. So 2 out of 3 ain't bad. BTW, Our old buddy Jenkins is helped us out tonight, getting an outfield assist on fukudome tonight.
  17. Agreed. I still like Weeks. I'm not certain he will ever live up to his full potential, but he's still a pretty solid lead off guy IMO.
  18. Could very well be. I know a lot of bartenders don't even know whats in it. As a matter of fact , the waiter came back to our table to ask us if he ordered it correctly. I noticed that too! Most seem to know a 3 wisemen, but not a 4 horsemen.
  19. Great win today. Cards losing and hopefully the cubs will follow suit.
  20. Totally off track, but i was always under the assumption that a four horseman was 3 whiskys(Jim, Jack, Johnny Walker) and a tequila(Jose)? Least that's what i always get when i ask for it at the Bar.
  21. Can we get the title "Saint" under pedro's name? I don't want in on the seats, i just think you do alot of great things for the members of this site pedro. thanks again man.
  22. I don't think they can do that for active players anymore. I could be wrong tho.
