    Man I'm just pumped for this game. If we win I will feel like the season is going to be a great one. If we lose I'll feel like we are doomed and it will be the worst thing ever!. I get way too excited about the first month's games! Here's to Yo pitching a gem and our bats staying hot!

    DJ, I too have had to fight that signal coming in to MNPLS for a few years now! haha. Works pretty good in my car but can be touchy in the house. I can't wait for this in game thread to get up!!!! Please hurry, I feel like I have bugs crawling on my skin and the only cure is in game thread......or more cowbell.

    Can't handle the wait! Haha, only a few more hours. What kind of plans does everyone have for tomorrow? I will be grilling something and kicking back and watching the game. So pumped for this to start!!

    I think after a super bowl, there isn't too many people out there that would be more special then the MVP. I think Rodgers would be by far the best and most exciting. Could you imagine that crowd????

    They should have a contest and the winner gets to spend a night with their friends in the stadium watching DVD's and playing Video games.......maybe it's wild dream, but would be great!

    Man it would be nice to have Hart in there! Looks pretty good though. Good start here, hope we get some good crisp play and then get on out of ST and on our way to Cincy!

    I too really want Kostanza to be our backup. I like his bat a lot for a backup.

    Guys, let's get back on track, this is supposed to be a positive thread!!!!! This team is setup to be special this year. Ya we have a few kinks in our armor and we are a little dinged up but hopefully we survive the first month, get everyone on the field and really hit our stride after the first month or two and take it all the way in to the playoffs. Giddyup! Biggest thing to be excited about.........Harry Doyle is will be on the mic all year!

    Let's not put too much stock in to Dickerson. He was ok but he wasn't going to win us games and isn't going to hurt us when he's gone. I have no opinion on Mitre but I do agree we have a mess of backup OF'ers that won't really help or hurt us and we are really hurting for pitching at this moment. I think many of you are making a really big deal out of this when really it's not a big deal at all.

    Man this is just horrible! I really hope it's just a bruise but I'm guessing they are checking for a break. I don't think it would effect his tendons.

    I guess we do have to give Melvin a lot of credit for his older scrap heap guys. Could we even put the Love Muscle in that group as well? Let's not include the pitchers in this category http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif That's a whole different discussion.

    I know that I shouldn't put too much in to Spring numbers but man, I feel like we'd be better off with no Kotsay. Maybe he'll come through and it will be nice to have a veteran bat on the bench, but right now I feel like there are better options on the team.

    Reports are that Gamel will be playing 1B in the minors. So does this mean Almonte has a good shot at making the squad? Just a thought.

    I know people bring up the Gomez HR in MN but a lot of it had to do with how jacked up he was to be back in MN. You could just tell. He was flying all over the place had a decent series and was just really excited to play against his old team. Trying to probably show them that they shouldn't have traded him. Anyway, I don't hold that against him at all. It was dumb and it was a mistake. I believe he even said after the game he was sorry and was not trying to show anyone up. I'm really pulling for him as always (I have stated this many times) but I'm not expecting a miracle. I like the kid and wan him to do well. He's exciting and plays the game full speed all the time.

    Yes tightness in the shoulder makes me worry big time. I'm trying to stay positive but man this is starting to make me sick. I really hope it is just a little tightness and nothing else but it seems like most of the time it leads to poor pitching for awhile and then MRI and injury. Hope i'm way over reacting!

    I would really welcome a .260/.310 or around there. We have to remember we knew we'd be taking a dip with CF and SS for some great pitching. So when you combine his deffense I think that would be quite alright with me. I'm rooting for him big time as I always have. Love his hustle and intensity!

    Ha, the indian annoucers are pretty funny to listen to. They get really excited no matter what happens. They just went nuts for Rivera's HR. Love it!
