That Carolina lineup is just so fun to look at on paper. Selfishly can't wait for them to get to Appleton in a few months. -

A little tough luck for Peek getting pulled with the bases loaded and having all 3 of them then score and he was charged with all of them. He wasn't happy getting taken out either, when the mound visit started he put his hands up in the air asking why and did they same thing walking off the field to the pitching coach ... then went straight to talk to the PC when he got to the dugout. It wasn't in a show up way.. I think he really wanted to work through that himself though. -
Crazy to watch Quintana not have his best stuff, not have the usual command ... and here we are through 4 and they are scoreless. Professional pitcher this one.

I probably agree that Hoskin gets the rest of the month to figure things out. After that, he may find himself with a lingering quad issue or something that lands him on the DL for 3 weeks so Ernesto can come show the team if he is going to be overmatched.

I know he is making a broader point but Cortes is just not the guy to use as your bridge to do so right now. He is in a contract year. The very last thing he wants to do right now is underperform and/or get hurt.
