  1. Took a look at the Nashville boxscore today and the Sounds won their game 14-1 and have a record of 24-9, Wow. Hiura with 1 hit , 3 walks and no strikeout today.
  2. I wouldn't mind doing this trade: Twins get Cain and Shaw Brewers get Donaldson and $8M
  3. Gotta sweep the weaker teams like the Tigers to get back to the top of the division.
  4. Rather play Urias at 3B than Shaw as he's the better hitter. DFA Shaw and call up Green, play him at 1B and see how he performs at the plate.
  5. Vogelbach has been awful offensively and should be DFA asap. I'd rather see McKinney or even Nottingham batting and playing 1B than Vogelbach. They should give Vogelbach's roster spot to Jace Peterson when he returns from IL.
  6. The Brewers could keep Vogelbach by reducing one pitcher in the roster, they could start the season with 14 position players and 12 pitchers.
  7. Hope the White Sox is interested to trade for Cain.
  8. Houser has been awful as a starter and much better as a reliever, I'd moved him to the bullpen and have Freddy Peralta in the SP rotation. Woodruff, Burnes, Peralta, Anderson, Lindblom
  9. Fisher should make the roster, he has been very good in ST. Urias should be optioned to AAA. My fielders roster Hitters (13) CF Bradley Jr 3B Robertson LF Yelich 1B Hiura RF Garcia 2B Wong C Narvaez SS Arcia Pina Cain Fisher Shaw Vogelbach
  10. One player missing in the list, Billy McKinney is playing 1B in ST.
  11. Yeah, Urias still has two options remaining, the Brewers should option him to AAA to work on his batting. I'd rather have Robertson on the roster than Urias.
  12. I predict the OF opening day roster will be Yelich, Cain, Garcia, JBJ and Fisher. Fisher is out of minor league options while Taylor still has an option remaining. Moreover the Brewers traded for Fisher and he has been pretty good in ST so far.
  13. This is Turner's last contract so getting top dollar will probably matter most to him, Mark A should increase the offer to seal the deal. The Dodgers haven't signed him because they didn't offer him the top dollar.
  14. Really hope the Brewers sign Turner.
  15. Wow, really nice to see two Asian Americans in the starting lineup, Hiura in 1B and Wong in 2B, and both guys were 1st round draft picks too.
  16. A disappointing end to a disappointing season. Hopefully I will be more optimistic next season, but Stearns needs to add great pieces to the team to give us reason to be optimistic.
  17. Way too early to worry about Hiura just like it was too early to worry about Burnes last season. This is only Hiura's second season in MLB. Hiura could be like Burnes, bad in his sophomore season and great in his third season.
  18. Right. Many other players in Middleton's salary range will also see their salaries increase in coming seasons as most high dollar NBA contracts are structured in that fashion. For the season at hand, it appears he is overpaid by less than 5 million dollars, which ultimately is a relatively paltry sum & far less than the die hard Khris detractors make it out to be. The most important thing is for the Bucks to get Giannis to sign the max contract, he will still be underpaid in the max contract. Giannis has made Middleton look good. If the Bucks don't have Giannis, Middleton is going to look very overpaid in his current max contract.
  19. I like Brogdon a lot and would've preferred keeping Brogdon than giving Middleton the max contract. I'd prefer to have Brogdon than Bledsoe.
  20. $30.6 million is just for the first year of his contract, Middleton is going to get more overpaid with each passing year. In the final year, he will be paid $40.36 million. 2019-20 - $30,603,448 2020-21 - $33,051,724 2021-22 - $35,500,000 2022-23 - $37,948,276 2023-24 - $40,396,552 (player option)
  21. I'm ok with Robin Lopez as the second center, he protects the paint. Sterling Brown has been a big disappointment, I think he should be traded or send down to the Herd.
