  1. I agree with BillyHallFan....Prince is extremely generous when it comes to signings, as is Mike Cameron. I once was at ST with a Fielder Mc Farlane and an ESPN Mag cover reprint. I asked him to sign my Mc Farlane, which he did. I then went to put it in my backpack and he saw the ESPN cover and he asked me if I wanted that signed too. I said of course and then he asked if there was anything else I needed signed. I told him no, but I called a friend over and he signed three of his cards. Ever since I have been a huge Fielder fan.
  2. Davis' wife is from the EC area, so I would be surprised if he wouldn't at least get excited to come back to Milwaukee. He also would have a bullpen behind him and an offense that can produce runs. Dan Haren, Juston Upton, and Mark Reynolds are probably the only players that are locks to stay in AZ. Josh Byrnes has already gone on record down here on the radio, news, etc. saying that they may be selling in the next few days/weeks.
  3. I wouldn't mind the Brewers going and getting Doug Davis back. Aside from the fact that he puts me to sleep down here when he pitches, he has strung together a couple of really nice games lately, including today. His record sucks, but his ERA is very respectable and he gets little to no run support when he pitches. The Dbacks are probably going to have a fire sale due to the fact that they aren't very good so I wouldn't mind him as another lefty in the rotation with the statuses of Parra and Bush somewhat up in the air.
  4. I just read the ESPN.com version and Bradley stated that Pinella has a different set of rules for him. No crap, Milton! You're a NUT JOB! I understand what he is saying to an extent because Zambrano just pulled a stunt that rivaled that of some minor league managers, however Milton is crazy. He needs his own set of rules. I do love watching the Cubs implode before my very eyes though!
  5. My guess is it's a fake. I looked all over the internet to find pictures with that "font" and it is no where to be found to the best of my knowledge.
  6. This may have been already posted (I didn't read through the whole thing) but my biggest beef, albeit somewhat picky, is that they don't do much for pre/post game. I'm lucky to get literally 30 seconds of post game before it blacks out. With NFL ticket I get to watch the coaches' shows and FOX/CBS pre games as well. I wish MLB would put the pre/post game shows on.
  7. When I saw it I didn't think he was posturing or showing off. He had a miserable couple of innings losing a ball in the sun and he also had a baserunning gaffe. The deep breath was a sigh of relief after actually doing something right in the game; he was just too stupid to remember he only had 1 out before the catch, not 2.
  8. The best part about this whole deal is that I started Prince, Braun, Gamel and Hart tonight. They reward me with 13 RBI!!! It's good to be a fantasy homer tonight!
  9. I saw this live and found it to be pretty funny. My wife even said, "WHAT IS HE DOING?" I told her he was being Milton Bradley. Then I went on to tell her about the beer bottle in LA, the ACL in SD...quite a fun conversation. I just wish the sCrubs fan would have been heads up enough to throw it back at him.
  10. Khris is from down here in the Phx area and from different things I have read he could end up being a very nice pick for the Brewers.
  11. I have a cat named Bernie Brewer. He seems to like it.
  12. Could you imagine if Mike Cameron shot Rock with a pellet gun?
  13. I got my ticket today. It came in great shape. Thanks, Scott!
  14. I don't bunt there either. They are going to need to score two runs the way this game has gone. One run won't do much aside from tie it up until the Braves put up another in the bottom of the 9th. At least if they could have kept runners on they would have had a puncher's chance.
  15. If they are very selective and can fight, they can easily do some damage this inning.
  16. Who is slower? Bobby Cox or JJ?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. I was 2 then; it's no excuse. You have to be versed in the "classics." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  18. Eric Byrnes used it last year, much to my delight. He scrapped it however after he started 2-1,435. Apparently he didn't realize it wasn't the song and that he just plain stinks.
  19. Josie by The Outfield for a walk up song just made Kelly Johnson my favorite non-Brewer.
  20. I'd be okay with Hart going to Nashville. I'm only half joking.
  21. So if Manny goes to Nashville, who are they going to fill in his place? I'm calling you guys out to come up with something good. McClung, Dillard? He hasn't thrown a bad game today. He made one mistake to Chipper on the first homerun. If I wasn't mistaken, I would think this is a JS comment board. All doom and gloom.
