This guy is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Not only is he one of about three guys in that bullpen worthy of a roster spot as of now, but the mustache is taking on a life of its own. I was at the game on Saturday against the Braves and there were poster signs all over the park of just his mustache. I think he should drop his name a la Prince and just go with the mustache logo. -

You know, I have been trying to find some updated stuff down here on azcentral.com, East Valley Tribune etc., but have been able to find nothing. Sutton and Grace haven't really mentioned anything regarding the situation on telecasts either. They have just said that they can't wait for Schoenweis to get back. There have been some rumors down here that it may be a fishy situation, but nothing of concrete evidence.

I think they could have, and should have gotten more for Matt Holliday.

I've seen them play 5 times this year. Clint Hurdle is the least of their problems. There are some major holes on that team. They traded away their best player for an average closer who had lost the role by the middle of April and only got it back because the rest of the bullpen sucked. Hurdle will definitely re-surface.

I can back up Buckethead. I ordered there before spring training. They are a VERY reasonable price and the shipment was lightning quick....to Arizona. I can't imagine how fast it would be from Michigan to Wisconsin. -

That error was DEFINITELY on Counsell. Billy takes the cut for home, Craig should be on third. Rock is saying it was due to the shift, I call BS cuz the ball was in the hole and he should have been moving that direction already.

I completely disagree. Mauer is, in my opinion, clearly the best of the 4 without a doubt.Is that because he is having an abnormal outburst of power right now? Or because he is actually on the playing field? Fact is, Mauer is often injured. While he may have Braun in hitting for average and defense, Braun has Mauer in power, speed and I can even think you can say he has him in arm strength. Mauer is overrated as a defensive catcher in my opinion. Since he threw out 55% of runners in 2007, his percentage has dropped drastically to where it is at 22% right now. I would take Mauer and Morneau, but not because of either of them being great, it is just that Fielder is the odd man out in this conversation.

I have begun to bring the opponent's gear TOTALLY not necessary. Fact: I live in Phoenix, AZ and have attended over a dozen Diamondback games this year at Chase Field sitting along the visitor's bullpen. Fact: Chris Ianetta, Alan Embree, Ryan Franklin, Skip Schumacher, and Pablo Sandoval all have something in common. Fact: All have thrown me balls this year during games while I wear a Braun T shirt and a Milwaukee Brewers cap. Fact: Not a single player has ever said to me, "I'm not throwing you a ball because you don't have my team's gear on."

Agreed, BrewCrew. I do like Macha a lot; he's a great baseball guy and I actually got to have a couple of lengthy convos with him at ST to pick his brain a little bit. With that said, if Mach wasn't the Brewers' manager, I can't think of more than 2-3 other managers that I would want on my team of choice than Maddon.
