    I would guess you're looking at about $300 in gas...but if you fill up in NYC it's already $5/gallon there. Midwest Express has really convenient flights from MKE to NYC. If you don't fly on high-traffic days, you can get them from about $150 - $250 per person.

    Unfortunately, the only thing I can offer is a bar recommendation near yankee stadium. You're on the right track taking the subway though. The stop is like 2 steps from Yankee Stadium.

    Like many of you, I'm in favor of the replay for fair/foul/home run balls. However, I'd be extremely against implementing it in the middle of the season. Why is it fair that some people get robbed before the all-star break, but we can check the replay as we get closer to the playoffs? New technology is great, but jumping in without preparation is a poor choice.

    The great thing about working on a college campus - my tornado shelter today was a movie theater. Awesome. In other news...I think it's lightning more often than not.

    My aunt and uncle live in Greenfield, but were up North for the weekend. They have a driveway that leads downhill to the garage...and their brand new Prius is completely submerged. Flooding in the basement was so bad that the washer actually ended up on top of the dryer.

    I seriously considered this last year too, just because of the people I'd get to meet. I was a little concerned that I'd be bored in the baseball class since I know how the game works, but it looks like there's an advanced option this time. Tempting. Who wants to donate to my scholarship fund?

    On the FSN broadcast today, Trenni said that there are only 4 (or 5 - can't quite remember) teams that are over 500 on the road. Not sure if she was just talking NL or not....seems like it's a problem for everyone. The Braves, for example, have an absolutely horrible road record right now.
