  1. This is my first year as a season ticket holder, so I devoured the handbook...it definitely says that you're not guaranteed your seats from year to year (or an upgrade), so if someone told you that they were probably mistaken. 406 seems pretty extreme though. Have you asked if it's possible to try and change your seat location for individual games? On another note, I'd be interested to know what some season ticket holders do with their tickets. I have every intention of going to almost every game. But the row in front of me has been empty both games so far. I assume these are season ticket holder b/c otherwise I would have been able to get my tickets a row closer, right?
  2. hahahahaha very nice.
  3. Agreed. On a hot night with thunderstorms I know I'll leave Miller Park a sweaty, sticky mess. But at least we get to see a game instead of sitting around getting soaked and then having a delay or cancellation.
  4. I'm really excited about the addition of Trenni...mostly because she knows what she's talking about and I couldn't stand the blonde woman that did Brewers Live last year (is she still on?) and partly because I would kill for her job.
  5. Just for the sake of discussion, did anyone notice that the article about Miller Park in the Cue section of the Journal Sentinel today called the video the two fisted SLOPPER. ??? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. I like the roof and don't mind if it's closed. I'm one of those people that gets cold easily. The one time I ever left a game early was when I was just way too cold to sit there.
  7. in a qualifier? Geez.
  8. I made it into the parking lot at about 9:40 and refused to use a bathroom until I got into the park at a couple minutes before one. There was no line for the women's bathroom on the Terrace level. I was in my seat in time to see the first pitch. No complaints from me! And from the amount of times we had to flash our preferred parking pass, you would have thought it was reserved for rock stars or something.
  9. hahaha. Yes, yes I did. And I wasn't obnoxiously drunk either. There were at least 10-20 open seats in our immediate area (sec 416)
  10. I've said this before and I don't think anyone corrected me - doesn't the proceeds of most clothing go to MLB?
  11. What I thought was weird was the number of open seats around me, the entire game. Especially with 45,000 people there.
  12. All my friends are calling me and telling me I'm crazy for getting to Miller Park a little after 9 since the lots don't open till 10. They'll end up opening the lots early, right?
  13. Glory/Us by Acceptance. Paul - if you have an ipod, you can put all the songs from your old computer on it, then download a program called Senuti on your new computer and transfer the songs from your ipod to iTunes.
  14. I agree. You'll likely be fine with either major...as long as you have some relevant experience when you apply for jobs.
  15. well whoever pitches I'll be happy b/c I'll be watching baseball at miller park. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. I'm pretty sure Parra was going to have his turn skipped so Ben could stay on his normal schedule.
  17. I work very part-time at Williams-Sonoma and I get 40% off all merchandise, with the exception of a 20% discount on electric items and sale items. This extends to our corporations other companies, including Pottery Barn, and the website. Totally worth the 8 hrs a month I work there http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. It's some kind of spoof the D-backs do. link
  19. I didn't stay on the Eastside....I went to Bar Louie at Bayshore b/c it was near where my friend had class...the bartenders were great but the fans weren't
  20. Where do you go to watch away games, if it's not in the comfort of your own home? I went to a bar today but there weren't that many people there, and the ones that were there weren't very friendly. Any advice? I live in Milwaukee, near the East Side.
  21. I don't need any excuse, but I probably use 80% of my vacation time for Brewers-related things. I'm going to be pissed if the game is rained out and I miss it on Tuesday though. I have too much work to do to take another day off. I'd love to hear some creative excuses though.
  22. Yeah. I've got a copy that I'm more than willing to part with. I think it's really cool, but I'm not into a lot of memorabilia....it just collects dust. Except for the bobbleheads I keep in my office, of course.
  23. Jason, do you have a copy of the actual print version? I would think that would be much cooler to get signed.
  24. hahaha. Apparently the national media wants the cubs to win so bad they can switch leagues. I'm trying to figure out what kind of typo that could have been.....but I've got nothing.
  25. I've heard so many people rave about Wrigley, and I just don't understand it. Yes, it's historic, but the one time I was there I was amazed by what a piece of junk it was. They should keep a bunch of bricks that are falling on people's heads for a great display in a new park, and then build something that can handle the weather and provides at least some of the parking they need...
