I know absolutely nothing about scouting, but I can say 1. These reports are far more convincing than the Arnett reports I recall reading two years ago that portrayed a one-year wonder good big ten pitcher and 2. If we hit 50% on today's picks and one pans out as a #1-2 guy in the rotation and the other flops, I'll be elated. One can never really know. -
Are Brewers fans going to Fenway this year?

I'm going out for game 1 of this series. (also going to see us vs the Cubs earlier in the week--two oldest stadiums in 5 days!) Looks like it'll be Lester/Wakefield/Beckett vs Marcum/Wolf/Yo. Should be a great series. Is anyone touring the stadium before the game? According to the website, they are every hour on the hour until 3 hours before game time. Could be pretty interesting. -

Man, Furcal's contract is a little absurd. He is getting $12 this year, only Jeter and Tulo get more at the position. He gets more than 2X what Hardy gets.

Dickerson and Cutter for Morgan and Mitre? I'd take that any day...another underrated move by Melvin. Also, he picked up this great fielding shortstop for today only. I see Cutter isn't doing a whole lot in A+.

I really think that the Reds are in the top 4 teams in the NL along with Philly and Atlanta. I know their rotation has some issues, but I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs.
