  1. Lee makes more sense than Halliday. Lower asking price, good club option for 2010. Surely, even the Crew could give him better run support than the Tribe have. A Yo Lee combo would put us in great position for 2010 and we may be able to keep the Gamels and the Escobars.
  2. This would be a leap of faith by the Brewers. I can't imagine that the asking price would be very high. I wouldn't mind having JD as a late August addition. That said, I doubt we throw prospects at a guy about whom we don't know much with respect to health.
  3. It isn't nearly as annoying when it is Kendall and Gerut blowing out potential rallies. When it is the meat of your lineup it is a punch in the guy. So disappointing.
  4. ARGH>>>>> I really miss Bush. 7 HRs by Burns. He's on pace to catch Looper by his 8th start.
  5. Terrible feeling about tonights game. Hopefully, I'm wrong, but I feel like we're in the midst of a long slide.
  6. You put Weeks in that lineup and put Lucroy behind the plate and that is a pretty sweet lineup.
  7. Honestly, I'd almost rather see Kendall bunt with Yovani on deck than the other way around.
  8. 65 pitches in the 1st inning with 4 walks. Sheesh. Shocking that only 2 came in.
  9. Urgh...Braun has been stinky. Impatient, not lining balls up...so annoying
  10. Yo seems to have a case of the Parras. The outfield has a case of the Daniel Murphys.
  11. Rough start here for Yo. Gotta keep the pitch count down. Hopefully that is all Manny has in him for the day and now that he has his hit streak he'll coast the rest of the day.
  12. Ideally we can take a lot of pitches today and get Kershaw out by the 5th. Their pen is depleted and Broxton is unavailable. I'd love to see Mota for a few innings.
  13. From ESPN: J Kendall C C Hart RF R Braun LF P Fielder 1B C McGehee 2B M Cameron CF B Hall 3B C Counsell Y Gallardo P Interesting...Kendall still in the 1st spot. Hardy not starting after heating up.. Not a fan of that. At least Corey is feeling a bit better.
  14. Love that picture of Kershaw. He looks pitiful. Unfortunately, he's been really solid this year. The 'stros roughed him up quite a bit and he isn't as good away from LA so there are some things to grasp at.
  15. This team is starting to give me the same feeling as the 2008 "Nothing Goes Your Way" Packers.
  16. I agree. And with DeRosa on the DL, he has less protection, if you believe in that sort of thing. Just pitch around Pujols, and go after the rest of their offense. I agree to an extent, but with Yo you have to go at him...
  17. Braun will have a HUGE day today I predict. He will feel like he needs to put his $ where his mouth is.
  18. At best he could be a mop up guy in games like today's...
  19. Thus far not as windy as yesterday. Harden has been susceptible to the long ball this season so hopefully we can get some with guys on. Otherwise it is going to be a long day.
  20. isn't that uncle buck>?
  21. I feel like all the Twins crushing hits have been with 2 outs this year. Maybe that is just the way it feels, but I feel like with 2 outs, I'm sure they're going to score. We on the other hand...
  22. No way it is halladay. Webb is a possibility.
