  1. Do you guys think witnessing the total breakdown of the Dodgers could be just the thing to get our offense going?
  2. LA fans are just as classless. Milton and LA are made for each other. Normal fans don't cheer for actions that embarrass and hurt their team. Keep the garbage in your house instead of throwing it on the field Dodger fans.
  3. Still a little too early to start giving up outs. The double play was bad but swinging away was good.
  4. You would use wretched over hang dog?
  5. Fun game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/grin.gif
  6. Tie Game...Darnit. I'm watching the pitches on MLB Gameday. Everything from Kolb in the strikezone is mid-thigh to waist. The only good strike was to Green to strike him out at the knees.
  7. Jenkins: Single to Center Flyout to Left Home Run to Left Double to Left-Center Pretty good approach today, eh?
  8. Jenkins hit that homer to Left Field. Could be a good thing.
  9. Jenkins played like this in 2002 before he hurt his ankle. He was hitting something like .240 in June. Not unheard of for Jenkins. At this time last year Jenkins was hitting .265 (.340 OBP) with 30 Runs 11 HR and 35 RBI. The good thing compared to last year is Jenkins has only struck out 42 times. He struck out 54 times at this time last year. I wouldn't worry about Jenks much. If he had 11 homeruns at this point his R, RBI, SLG would be near last year. He is entering his favorite months..(Last Year) June: .327 (.395 OBP) 21 R 8 HR 26 RBI July: .279 (.367 OBP) 14 R 2 HR 11 RBI August: .360 (.452 OBP) 16 R 7 HR 23 RBI
  10. Maybe Wes Helms is the darkhorse in our lineup. It seems that we have had trouble scoring runs since he has been out of the lineup. Most likely a coincidence since Ginter has played very well. As far as the offense, I wouldn't worry much. Look at the Texas Rangers right now. That very potent offense has only scored in 3 of their last 36 innings. Of course their pitching staff has crashed down to earth with an ERA over 5 in that amount of time. I have been impressed with the range of Mark Loretta in this series. It's how he's been all year long. Pretty impressive when Khalil Greene is dancing around right next to him.
  11. I can actually see Bill's point with someone who has an 86 MPH fastball. Don't really like Ginter's shot with that changeup.
  12. This game got fun really fast.. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/grin.gif
  13. Giles.. I think Guiness owes him a plaque for most times using the F word after an at-bat.
  14. Brainard's nipples and Sutton's waist size....
  15. Don't see that much. Past Overbay. Past Spivey on funny bounces. Edit: That hurts..
  16. I don't like it...Considers that Yost was going to give Podsednik a day off until the rainout in Pitt on Friday. Po must need a day off every week now.
  17. Wish I could have attended the game today. This cold that I have is killing me. Don't you hate getting colds in the last week of May? Nice win for Sheets. He has always pitched LA well in his career. My ideal lineup for Nedley to put up in a game is left/right. Still waiting to see it. Nice win for the Brewers.
  18. Well what can you say? Jenkins really came up in the clutch tonight in getting on base, and making two really nice defensive plays tonight. The pitching has been really impressive over the last week, unfortunately the offense is in a slump when the pitching is so strong. Good overall "baseball" game. EDIT: Hopefully Jenkins will be a web gem tonight. He really got ripped last night. Nice plug on the game in the Diamondbacks/Giants broadcast. Mentioning once again that Jenks looks like Brett Favre.
  19. Wow...If Nedley were in the dugout he'd be proud of his decision to PH Durrington.
  20. Geez, Bill Hall has a nice approach coming off of the bench. It almost hurts not seeing this guy swing the bat 3-4 times a night. Edited: How the heck do you turn a DP on Hall and Podsednik?
