  1. Didn't we decide on "Gordon"?
  2. Mitch Williams was basically complaining the entire show that Braun has a lot to learn, especially after he walked and slammed his shin guard on the ground. He made a comment about how this is what he means and he just needs to get his butt to first base. For some reason he was really steamed, his face was red. It was to the point that when they led up to the plays of the night the others joked that they were going to show Braun's home run trot. Then when they showed the untuckem at the end they were saying that the Brewers need to keep street clothes in the dugout since their players are undressed when they get off the field anyway. This just reminds me that I have to go to Eastbay and get an Untuckem shirt... WE WIN!
  3. ^More NSBB. I kind of remember the Wrigley crowd cheering after Gallardo got hurt.
  4. There's no reason for anyone to have a problem with it. And the Brewers are not the only team in the division that does it.
  5. Gokey did a good job singing the Anthem. You hear so many butcher it or just sound awful. Still, I can't believe American Idol still has such a big following.
  6. The only way you stop people from running when you "ban" it is to break their legs. Sorry, but have you ever seen a Black Friday? I'm in the minority who thinks it should be for children only. It may be an unpopular view but when a 10-year old gets shafted on an autograph from his hero because a 42-year old needs yet another autograph to do god know what with, it seems there's a problem. I can certainly understand a hobby but there are plenty of other ways to get an autograph.
  7. I guess I am really lucky. I have owned one 360 and have never had any issues. It's been used quite a bit as well. There are some great recommendations already in this thread, don't pay an arm and a leg to get it fixed. Look at a cheap alternative or go for a new console. If you don't already have one, make sure you have a cooling system (Intercooler), I've heard it extends the life of the system a ton.
  8. ^ That's my first reaction too. Trenni has one of those forced smiles on her face that is just asking for someone to call the Police.
  9. It's hard to believe that this is the same Dave Bush that was so bad to start last season. Since last year's All-Star Break he has been great. Honestly a man crush is forming.
  10. Most college stories are either completely false or blown way out of proportion. She's great at what she does, seems like a good person and it's always nice to see a good looking girl around sports.
  11. I never question a pitching coach for walks. That's too elementary to have to be taught. Throw strikes.
  12. Thankfully it's over until next inning. I will say that curveball turns me on.
  13. That's real unfortunate then because the lady did not give them the ball. She declined their offer and abruptly left. I'm thinking she thought the ball had some monetary value, I know she asked them if she could have the ball authenticated... What a (you know what).
  14. I was at the game tonight, sat in Loge Diamond. I was standing out in right-center at the Tundra Territory by my favorite usher George when Rickie hit his home run. The home run ball got thrown by me and a woman got it for her child. Brewers personnel came out and requested the ball back (in exchange for a Trevor Hoffman autographed ball), they wouldn't say why. Can't find any reason for it to be a significant ball, any ideas?
  15. A robot that isn't too happy I might add!
  16. The thing with Matheny though is he didn't even flinch.
  17. If they ask this guy if he can hang out another half inning....
  18. Why does Soriano continue to see fastballs in his career? That's all he hits and people keep giving them to him.
  19. Doesn't bother me either way. People can point and laugh at our "Wild Card" banner or they can point and laugh at our "82 AL Champs" banner and a bunch of empty wall. Seems to be the same difference to me.
  20. I find it interesting when you click on the opening day game for tickets it says, "Tickets for this game are currently only available through a Brewers Season Ticket Package. Choose the ticket package that is right for you, or please select a different game." So... It seems to mean they still have Opening Day tickets. There's still a slight chance these will be released since obviously thus far the Brewers set aside more than the amount of season ticket packages they sold. Another positive is I can't imagine them holding crummy seats for potential season ticket buyers. I'm not going to jump on getting tickets now at the prices people are asking. Wait until the week of the game and prices go down, since a lot of people are currently asking for unrealistic prices.
  21. Wouldn't do it. Always laugh at the people camping outside of stores waiting for the "right" to spend $500.00 on a new video game system. Season ticket holders had first dibs, random drawing winners had second dibs. I can't imagine anything worth the hassle, money and embarrassment of camping out for multiple days. You can log on to milwaukeebrewers.com faster than it takes for the line and face-to-face transaction to be completed anyway. Your odds of getting a seat that's behind a structural beam would probably be just as good at home. Rather pay the extra beans in comfort, while having a seat that can view the game.
  22. Ugh. A no go on Opening Day tickets. But I did get marquee. I never miss Opening Day but man is it getting old paying way over ticket value the last couple of years.
  23. It's a prime example of how the MLBPA is entirely too powerful. While the NFL often has some sort of confrontations with their PA, the NFLPA is far more respectable and kept in check. If you're not going to take on the MLBPA, try a compromise. That's where I think a salary floor and a salary cap is a possibility. Limit the high end a team can spend but make up for that money by forcing the lower rung teams to spend more, balancing it out.
