    With Lucroy out RRR probaby put Gomez, Aoki, Morgan, and Kot's names in a hat and he drew Gomez for 8th. We're facing Dempster who is a RHP. Gomez doesn't hit RHP well, therefore he bats 8th. He bats 2nd against LHP. Not that hard to figure out. No reason to bat him 2nd when Aoki and Morgan are both playing.

    McCalvy just tweeted that Braun and Lucroy aren't playing due to minor chest tightness. So that explains that. Likely from the cold weather last night. Now I can't be upset anymore.

    Braun getting a day off makes absolutely zero sense. He should be a guy that plays all 162. Gomez doesn't need to be in the lineup. Also kind of surprising that Ishikawa isn't in the lineup. I figured Hart and Gamel would be off, and Aoki and Ishikawa would play.

    Yep, exactly. I think things will pick up after they release a ton of people, and then have the draft. New guys will start getting storylines, and things will get clearer. Usually the month after WrestleMania is just a few continued feuds and everyone else waits around.

    Well, Raw sucked last night. I'm loving the Jericho/Punk feud though. Jericho is absolutely fantastic in his heel role. It's getting really personal, which makes it better in my opinion. I also like how they are booking Lesnar, and where the feud with Cena is going. They haven't had a brawl like that in any feud for awhile, so it felt fresh. Lesnar will probably look rusty at Extreme Rules, but if he continues to be booked right he should be good. I hope he ends up feuding with Punk at some point, even though it's been rumored that he won't. That would preferably not happen until Lesnar has gotten into better ring shape though. That's about all I'm liking on Raw right now. I'm thinking things are just kind of stalled at the moment until after the draft. Then maybe they'll get some fresh feuds going, and Laurinaitis running both shows will fit more. There's a lot of guys in limbo right now, and storylines are just developing.

    Wow, they are committing a boat load of money to just two players. I'm more leery of the Phillips signing due to his age by the end of the deal. I don't care if it backfires on them obviously, which it probably will. They better hope some of their young players develop. One thing they'll have a tough time doing is keeping a good pitching staff together. Mainly because of where salaries for pitchers are going.

    I guess Block will have to grow on me. I can't say I've been a big fan so far from what I've heard. Maybe that's just because I enjoyed Provus so much. I thought he was great, and would replace Uecker eventually. Block needs a lot longer though before people make a full judgement on him. It always takes time.

    I missed some of what they said, but the gist of it was the new head groundskeeper came up with a new dirt mix this year for the infield that will play softer and hopefully smoother. Alright, thanks for the info. I was at both of the games that were local broadcasts so far, so I didn't catch that.
