  1. He married a girl from town.
  2. Called Snap on, because a part from a pressure washer I received from Christmas didn't work. Today was the first day I broke it out of the box. Called, waited on line for 5 minutes or so, disconnected, called, waited on line for 15 minutes, talked to a woman which I gave serial numbers and model numbers to. She put me on hold to supposedly look up info, and that hold took so long it sent me to a voice mail. I call back again and now get the message were closed, and please call back tomorrow.
  3. I was at Miller Park around 1:00 and I didn't see any of this.
  4. I'm 43, and have kind of an old school mentality. Yes, I do believe act like you've been there before, but also don't mind celebrations in a special occasions occur. I didn't mind Bautista's bat toss, but I don't want to see it when a team is up 5 runs or that homer makes them still down 3 runs. I couldn't stand Jermichael Finley and his 1st down celebration every time he would get a first down. A late big play in a tight game, sure. But not on the first series of a 0-0 game. I didn't mind the Larry Bird or Michael Jordan trash talking, but don't want to see a player standing over another thumping his chest.
  5. As someone who has never been to Maryvale. What part of Milwaukee would Maryvale be like?
  6. I beg to differ about the needlepoint comment. The needle point day was going on before a bobblehead was given out. The Bernie Brewer game had mostly needle pointers, and that is the reason that bobble is so expensive now. Many of the needle pointers stopped going because of us collectors.
  7. What upsets me is that I have tickets to these games already with my 20 pack. I don't care that they do it, but they should release this before I choose my games.
  8. Today I received back an OMLB by Lafayette Currence. I thought this was a goner as I sent it 20 months ago. He paid the 29 cents because postage had gone up since I sent it.
  9. I don't see a team giving away a lot for Lucroy until they see him catch 40 games to make sure there are no effects of his concussion last year.
  10. I have 2 children and its really hard to get children to not want to get birthday gifts. They are kids after all. My wife and I go with our kids to show them where the donated food goes to the less fortunate every few months with our donations. We have gotten our kids to take donations of PB&J instead of gifts, but it took a lot of convincing. We allow our 2 children to have the Birthday parties every other year, so that there is one per year. I like giving my kids the parties, because I never was able to have them when I was a child. We didn't have the money for that.
  11. Early high snow count predictions gets us to click on their web pages. LOOK HERE, Lots of snow coming, Click here.
  12. I know for sure that Arcia was listed to sign autographs, photo bomb stage, and the Deportes stages. His name has been taken off all those events. He may have been signed up for other events, but other than the list of attendees his name has been removed. Shane Peterson still has his name on the attendees also, but was taken off all of his other events.
  13. It doesn't sound like it.
  14. The jersey looks like a cheap China knockoff to me.
  15. Joe grew on me. I think he keeps Uecker more grounded. I get tired of listening to Uecker's stories where every comment is a joke. I like to hear about his career and the inter working of baseball. Joe is able to get a serious answer to most of Ueck's jokes.
  16. A child who can't handle the airball chant probably won't have to hear it too many times. That child probably wont get that much future playing time.
  17. I hope your right. I just wish I knew who would make the 25 man roster.
  18. If you are delivering to a secure-access multi-level apartment building and you have access to the building, will you go up to the actual apartment unit and knock on their door or will you just leave a tag at the mailbox? If you have a buzzer at the main lower level entry door I will ring that, and if no answer I would leave the tag at those buzzers. If there are no buzzers I would go up to your apartment door. I'm just going to get that package back again the next day, so really I'd love to get rid of it.
  19. I'm a UPS driver, and there is no certain amount of time a vehicle can be parked. In NYC the trucks are parked in the same spot all day long. UPS does know everything we do during the day. They know when the truck is idling, speed, backing, distance travelled, speed travelled, seatbelt on, door open, when I'm using hitting keys in my computer. If people think they are micromanaged at their jobs, then they have no idea how much worse it could be. In most cases the driver decides if the package is safe to be left. The Fed Ex driver in my area leaves packages at most of the businesses without a signature. UPS doesn't allow packaged left at businesses without one. I deliver in northwest Milwaukee, and I won't leave a package at an apartment unless the shipper designated it to be left unsigned.
