Feel like he's been remarkably bad at that this season and it's something he's typically been great with. Seems like I've watched him be unaware he's about to get creamed about 25 times. -

I think it's even simpler. We aren't good, lol. Last weekend was honestly the first game in this streak we really looked good. Hell, might have been our best game of the year. And Rodgers wasn't even good! This year's Packers are perfectly capable of duds against anybody. Still hope we make it, because it's just more fun.

Losing to DET at home for a playoff spot after a winning streak would be very "this season," but I like our chances.

A lot of matchups won't be settled until next week which is always fun, assuming this result holds. 49ers are still in play for #1 per ESPN playoff machine, basically if everyone finishes 13-4, it's SF. It's possible for Philly to drop all the way to 5. Dallas can still get a bye.

That can't be right. I just ran the simulations and it's still possible for SF to end up #1, with Dallas winning the East. It's also possible for Philly to be #2.

Why does everyone always say this? We all know. It's fun to prognosticate and none of us are playing. It's OK. For the record, we can still end up playing Philly at #7, too.

I wouldn't pick us to be within 3 TDs of SF but that the playoffs are even plausible is unbelievable to me.

This is all so nutty. There's a lot left here and DET isn't a pushover but I can't believe we have a chance - particularly because Rodgers hasn't been all that amazing. And the NFC just isn't that good. If you get in, you really don't know what could happen.

I don't like that call at all. Go for the win and if you don't convert they still have to go 95 yards and get a TD. You're playing to stop a TD either way. I don't see what the FG really does for you other than I guess possibly staving off OT. -
I think they'll make it if they beat Miami. I think they'd win the other two at home in the cold. Minnesota will be marginally motivated and Detroit is another average team they can definitely beat. Miami is kind of game they've lost all year so I kinda think they'll lose again, but if they gut it out I think they'll squeak in.

One of my favorite sports that I don't get a chance to discuss often. This one stings, but is not surprising. I thought if they lost it would pretty dominant, and it really wasn't other than efficiency. Not just today, but USMNT has had so many games where they are dominant with possession, but just. Can't. Score. They need a striker so desperately. I think they used 4-5 different ones in the tournament just hoping to find lightning. The second goal was painful. You just can't do that in short time. Had to get that game to half 1-0. When NED got possession, even without scoring, the looks were always better. The first two goals had some horrendous defensive efforts from Dest and Adams, both inexplicably stopped running and watched the game, something you expect to see in youth league. NED is just too good to allow for those lapses. This isn't Iran. Shortly before we did score, we had another good look and Wright went outside when he really should have just taken a damn shot. It was such a clear choice to make and he biffed it. I've seen that SO MANY times with this team. Feels like we say this every WC, but USMNT is so, so close. They really aren't getting run out of the building by these teams. I didn't expect this group to get out of this round regardless of opponent but it would have been cool. They really have a chance to do something in 4 years.but what happens between now and then is everything. They need that 9 to come from somewhere, anywhere.
