  1. Not watching the game isn't at all significant when it comes to making sweeping generalizations about a player's future in the league. I can walk you through the difference between that and saying silly things like the Bucks aren't trying to win and the Packers have no chance to beat Arizona, if you'd like.
  2. I'd trade Love and I said that a week ago but it's not (for me) an indictment of Love. It's just my belief that Rodgers will be a Pro Bowl QB at 45 and they are jumping ship way too soon.
  3. He's fine in the sense there is still room for him to grow as a player. I'm not going to anoint him or declare his career over after one game where he was declared starter midweek. I'd feel the same if they'd won by 10 and he threw 4 touchdowns. You'd feel better obviously, but c'mon guys. It was a single game. Don't you think the conclusions being drawn are slightly overboard?
  4. The Chiefs kinda suck though so I don't what the normal Chiefs are. However if the Packers had won 14-13 the narrative would be exactly what you're saying it isn't even if he hadn't played any better. I didn't see the game but I was expecting the Packers to lose by like 25 today. Doesn't sound like Love had much to do with it but it's a really good sign they rose to the occasion and kept it competitive.
  5. In your own mind maybe. Like 10 days ago you matter of factly stated the Packers ensemble cast was not good enough to even compete with Arizona who was clearly better than they are. You make a lot of these hyperbolic takes. It's not my imagination. I do wonder what some posters here even get out of this whole experience and I'm the last person anyone would call Positive Pete. There's a level of misery among some that seems unchanged win or lose. Jordan Love is fine. As long as he wasn't tripping over himself and throwing 5 interceptions he's fine. It's more likely than not he isn't a 10 year starter in the league but anyone acting like they know the outcome based on what they saw today is overreacting.
  6. It's hardly some Nostradamus level wisdom to "predict" that Jordan Love will be average or worse, guys. Most players don't really work out. Personally not a great believer myself but would be nice to see people rally behind the guy a little instead of declaring his career over after like 20 passes in game that was rapidly adapted to an offense he could run in 3 days. Sorry but this isn't even giving him a chance to fail.
  7. You said repeatedly that the Bucks had no will to win as well.
  8. I didn't see the game but drawing this conclusion from his first meaningful live action is insane. The guy and team learned he was starting 4 days ago. Before anyone says it, the standard simply can't be that Jordan Love should look as good as Aaron Rodgers did against the Cowboys. Rodgers may be a top 3 QB ever. Everyone needs to accept that the level of play we've seen at QB isn't going to continue. But to claim "with hard work" his ceiling is a backup? I thought after the Bucks don't have the will to win and the Packers CAN'T best the Cardinals you'd cool it for a little with these spicy takes.
  9. This story is really funny to me. That's all.
  10. He does. He always has. Time for my opinion and one I've always had about #12: He is very bad at the humble guy schtick that he likes to portray. He enjoys himself thoroughly and always has. I think he is other-worldly arrogant. But it's a part of what has made him very good.
  11. Packers will forfeit before game is moved. NFL made that position clear before the season.
  12. I'll be curious to hear the protocols clarification because I don't think non vaccinated players are allowed without a mask to do the in-person press conferences. Other players (like Lazard) have done them via Zoom. I think they are if "social distance" is observed. But there are a few other rules Rodgers definitely violated.
  13. I don't wanna take this you know where, and for the record, I'm vaccinated. But just testing positive isn't really the mark of an effective preventive measure, otherwise the vaccine isn't very effective (which it is, just in the same way most vaccines are, and not in the way the media ran with early on).
  14. Rodgers already had his speech planned for this exact scenario. I can guarantee that.
  15. Mountain spring water, a hike with Myles Teller and ground up apple cores with bat blood.
  16. Doubt the players care. There are other unvaccinated players. Everyone in the building knew he didn't get it. I don't think they give one iota about what he tells reporters.
  17. Probably because Insider reporters don't make a living by needlessly ticking off the teams they cover. It's not a story without a positive test. We all know who Rodgers is. It's not a coincidence he said "immunized."
  18. Cobb was the emergency QB in his first tenure.
  19. Other than the multiple reports circulating that he was not. Which are based on trying to parse the meaning of the word immunized and not based on direct knowledge of Rodgers not actually being vaccinated for COVID and then proceeding to not follow league-mandated protocols for unvaccinated players the past ~4 months. It's Ian Rappaport and he wasn't ambiguous about it. I think it's likely he and a few other guys know exactly who is and is not vaccinated. It is pretty obvious at this point Rodgers was not.
  20. If it turns out he was not vaccinated this whole time, and I think the door is more than open for that to be possible, there's a big difference between dodging the media with a not completely honest answer and straight out lying to the team. I think it's very likely the team knows and has known Rodgers' vaccination status from the start. I'm talking about the league though. Rodgers did a bunch of things that are against protocol. He's not supposed to be at nightclubs and he was at mini camp unmasked. I couldn't care less about this, but there's a hundred examples of protocol violations dating back months.
  21. A suspension seems likely to me if this bears out but I don't know the rules. Rodgers violated protocol about 1000 times if he wasn't.
  22. Other than the multiple reports circulating that he was not.
  23. His exact quote was that he was "immunized". It takes some industrial-grade spin to use 'immunized' in any way other than equating to vaccinated. Which is obviously possible that he was doing so, but that's blatantly misleading if the case, IMO. Seems far more likely that he's vaccinated with symptoms. I assumed he was vaccinated because of hearing this a couple months ago, but with the circles he runs it, it would not surprise me at ALL if he never got it but took his fiancee's dietician's supplements and juice cleanse routine to "immunize" himself.
  24. I'm a little bummed I can't watch. Am traveling this weekend but as a person that is in and out of most regular season games doing other things, this is one I would have wanted to see all of if Love starts.
  25. It's only Wednesday so this could get worse. It's possible they end up with some street FA at QB. Rodgers went out for Halloween with a bunch of dudes. But yes, if Love can play, this is basically the dream scenario for that to occur. -AFC team -Bad defense -A sample to either show Love can play or they need to strongly consider committing to 12 -Rodgers isn't injured and we somehow get this mid-season, so he will get to play with most of the 1st unit.
