  1. The NFL has really shifted to aggressive on downs like that in the last few years. I think it is mostly because fans like it so there isn’t much blowback for the coach. I would like to see our coach play the percentages though. It's not because fans like it. It's because of the analytics boom providing evidence that punting from the 44 yard line doesn't really help you and giving the opponent the ball inside their own 5 is a good enough consolation prize that it's worth trying to pickup an extra 4 points.
  2. Fully on board with going for it there. Up 10 already and giving them possession inside their own 5. I'd kick if it makes it another possession difference. Something about the play looked botched though, guessing that's why Rodgers was giving the C some words.
  3. Long way to go but go up 3 scores on these guys and make Jimmy play catch up, you're probably sitting pretty.
  4. Great play from Sullivan.
  5. Like to see the Packers use short pass to set up the run. Offense feels too predictable.
  6. I kinda thought they'd get the guy who kicked Rodgers in the head on the slide. I hate those calls, but I was surprised he didn't get one.
  7. I don't know if I've seen a run for a 4-yard loss on 2nd and 29 before.
  8. Great chance for the defense not to get manhandled in the trenches by a team that lives there. It would be a nice opportunity to show we're capable of playing better defensively.
  9. Is this guy really the savior I've been told he is? This is the guy?
  10. Has never really made sense. The whole point of a % is that it naturally increases with inflation and price adjustments. If a $6 burger is now $9 that's reflected in the %. The way the customary tip just keeps floating upwards is really a phenomenon to me. Just seems like a way for shop owners to pay less and less and pass more of the buck to the customer.
  11. They'll definitely sell you the voucher. They don't advertise this but I always just add the theme night vouchers to my season tickets as soon as they are released. $15-$20 depending on bobble. Sometimes you can buy the voucher at the park, but the very popular ones do sell out.
  12. Yelich is not going to "get going."
  13. I'm still not even thinking they can actually lose the division but the limp into October and get swept by ATL is starting to look more likely. Too much time between now and then though. Doesn't even start until the 8th. Just not even worth worrying about.
  14. Bump. I can't accept this so I opted to just stop doing it. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I did the take-out thing from a place we used to go to, ordered $100 worth of food and then added $25 for driving to get it in take-home boxes and then re-heat it. Yeah, I'll pass from now on. I wouldn't feel right about not tipping at all.
  15. I haven't looked this up so it could be totally not true but was the 1st half schedule, when the offense was truly terrible, more home-heavy?
  16. Yes you can and it's been done quite a few times.
  17. This offense was always going to be capable of scoring 2 runs in 3 NLDS games and crushing us. Every team has an Achilles and I think that is ours this year. If we bow out early I suspect that will be why. Of course sometimes it's a pretty good offense. But it definitely can vanish for stretches. Hopefully September 22 and not October 10.
  18. I have no worries about losing the division, but I think anyone saying this isn't at all concerning is putting on a bit of a show of bravado. The 2nd place Cardinals danced on our field in 2011 and this is certainly at least causing flashbacks. These guys know they can beat us. Yeah, we may not see each other again, but we might. It's also going to be interesting that the Brewers end with 3 in LA. So it could very well be the Brewers that give the Cards SF and not the Dodgers, thus potentially leaving both of them in the field. Of course I'm of the position that we have a lot of great teams to beat and it doesn't matter who they are. But this isn't concerning at all? At ALL? I don't buy it.
  19. They need action on both sides of the line and if this were E or Notre Dame -3, 90% of the action would be on UW.
  20. What kind of seats were you able to get for game 2? That’s the one I want because my daughters who go to games with me can’t go on weekdays. I am only eligible for the 10 Pack Presale on Friday. There were tickets basically everywhere available but my friend asked for Loge Infield Box. I just noticed the seats disappearing upon refresh. I am sure there will be lots left by Friday. One thing that does bug me is that my reg. season seats are Club Infield Box. My strip was pushed to Club Outfield Box "due to availability", which is kind of a lousy sightline...then somehow there are club infield box seats available at these pre-sales. Ticks me off.
  21. We get a Saturday this time though which we did not before. But yes, Milwaukee-Atlanta is almost definitely getting the Friday 3:15 game or whatever slot they pick.
  22. I don't think so. I think it's pretty likely that both are afternoon games, like 2 or 3pm. I bought 4 for game 2 for a friend, they seemed to be vanishing very fast.
  23. It's more disturbing that our super genius DC thought those 4 could generate a pass rush.
