  1. Vogel wasn't the first time the Packers were fine at punter and then had to get someone's dream punter for no real reason only to have it backfire.
  2. I haven't paid a lick of attention. Who's in the best shape of their life?
  3. They absolutely knew this at least wasn't the school ESPN thought it was. I mean they played them last year. I don't think they care. IMG is its own unethical little thing anyway. Fascinating story though.
  4. Yes I said it was a better basketball game to watch. I, nor anyone else, said it was a bigger game than Game 6 of the Finals. Which is the straw man you continue to make.
  5. Nobody was arguing which was the biggest game though. That was just Rick arguing with himself.
  6. Yes, I had more of a dopamine hit Durant missed that last shot than I did when the Bucks beat the Suns because it was apparent for a good half hour or so that the Bucks were going to beat the Suns. This isn't complicated and you are making another one of your classic straw man arguments that winning the championship is the biggest game of the year. We get that, we know, "in case you were unaware." It was a more exciting game and if the Bucks lost, the season was over. It was an OT in a Game 7 in the series that lots of people thought was really the Finals. They could have lost Game 6 to PHX and lived another day. I mean Game 6 wasn't even the best game of the Finals. Game 5 was, the steal and dunk finish is at least an argument over Nets Game 7. The Finals Game 6, as a standalone game, is not even close to those other two for excitement. Last year's NFC Championship was a better game than the Super Bowl. I don't know why you die on these bizarre hills so consistently, Rick. ...and for the record, nothing "life-altering" has ever happened to me after any Bucks game.
  7. No, no, no, no, no. For one, the Buck's haven't had purple in their jerseys for a while. Two, when your biggest rival is purple... some lines are just not crossed. But I like where you were going.. a Green and Cream jersey to honor the Buck's championship would've been a nice tip of the cap. But I'm guessing the NFL has guidelines on these secondary jersey colors what wouldn't allow it... It wasn't an actual idea. I was just saying do something actually unique if you're going to keep doing these silly jerseys. There are only so many green and mustard ideas and 99% of them look terrible. It's not a good color scheme. I've always thought our jerseys kind of suck but the team is a million years old.
  8. I found the row and seat number on the invoice.
  9. The Packers uniform is very difficult to work with. It's never looked that great and when you start messing around with forest green and mustard yellow there is not a whole lot you can do. If you're hell-bent on doing this sort of jersey stuff just go all the way and honor the Bucks and throw in purple or something. Just wear the regular thing or do something way outside the box.
  10. At least it's something different than the same old Acme thing.
  11. That's per seat, right? I have a pair in the club and still had sticker shock when I saw $4,000. It's a bit of a fake figure considering all the the refunds and assumed games that never happen.
  12. Lol, OK. This makes no sense considering if the Bucks lose that game there is no championship. It was the only game that came down to the final possession and the only elimination game for the Bucks against what was most likely the best, and most unlikeable team they played. It was also the only game I was fully convinced they'd lose.
  13. Yes. Invoice was my invoice for the playoffs and the renewal for 2022. PDF library was...4-5 PDFs for selecting fan's choice games, the 2022 SSH dates, early payment gift/pay in full gift, and stuff like that.
  14. Mine worked fine. I was more annoyed that my strip was bumped from Club Infield Box to Club Outfield Box, no waitstaff and section 313 where you can't see the right fielder...one of MP's worst features IMO. And that your rollover credit can't be used on playoff tickets seems extremely bait and switchy. Felt like a bit of a slap in the face for prolonged loyalty and the nice loan I gave the Brewers for 2 years. That said I probably will sell all of my games until there's a clinch game in the NLCS or they make the World Series. The NLDS doesn't really excited me the way it used it. At least it doesn't feel like something I have to see firsthand.
  15. Biggest high being the Nets series sounds about right. It was a Game 7 and came down to the last missed shot, the others developed slowly.
  16. I'm not watching but I was intrigued by the Funchess signing last year. He had a pretty solid season in Carolina a few years ago and is still pretty young. I figured he was a fart in the wind because he's done nothing since, but he's already proven he can play in the NFL. Maybe with a solid QB he can still be a contributor.
  17. They should move him to WR then.
  18. As far as the field goes: "The specially constructed stadium around the MLB field, which seats 8,000 fans and was built next to the original diamond at the movie site, is a temporary facility for Thursday's game. Weinberg said the field, dugouts, bullpens, fences and irrigation system will stay at the site after Thursday's game. But a week or so after the game, Weinberg expects MLB to start disassembling other parts of the park. The locker rooms, lights, seats and bleachers will all be torn down. That could create an issue for Go The Distance, which may have to replace those items after MLB leaves and eventually hands over the stadium. Weinberg wouldn't say when that will take place. "We have a rolodex of vendors for bleachers and things like that for large-scale events that we would always contact in terms of that," Weinberg said. "But really, it's trying to finalize things from a Major League Baseball standpoint as well, and figuring out what exactly we want to do with the field."
  19. It's not permanent. It was $6 million to build and tear down.
  20. I don't think the opponent really matters as long as one team is iconic and it's not Milwaukee vs. Seattle. People are watching for the novelty. The Cubs play the Red Sox basically over the 4th so that is unlikely. You're likely limited to only late July or August and I doubt any team wants to give up a weekend game (plus that's not really a great TV slot for this) so I'm guessing that's a no-go as well. The obvious choice is St. Louis, whom the Cubs play twice in August, both in the middle of the week.
  21. I'd guess it's the highest since Bonds hit 716. That might have been on cable though which wouldn't sniff that number, I can't remember if it was. I do remember McGwire/Sosa being HUGE that season and everyone I knew trying to catch both of their games down the stretch.
  22. Already seeing the Cubs will be at the FOD in 2022. Would be cool to see us play them there.
  23. I thought the same exact thing but when you think about it, the venue doesn't allow for showing much else.
  24. It was very, very hokey but sometimes hokey works. They did a great job and whoever thought it up should be commended. Nostalgia is everything right now and they pulled it off really well.
