  1. Not to beat a dead horse but we're down 21 and Jones has 11 yards on 8 carries. Try something else. This game feels nostalgic. Rodgers = Favre Brady = Brad Johnson Suh = Sapp.
  2. There is just no pressure on Brady. None.
  3. I think this is on life support. If they can get stop here...maybe have a shot. Let's go.
  4. I think they're doing what they always do. A random 12/13 win season where they do nothing in the playoffs and inverse their record next year. That doesn't mean they won't beat the Packers. But I don't think they're that great.
  5. I do. That entire second quarter was either 2019 trip to SF. I just don't agree with this. Last year we got whipped by an obviously better team. Today we are shooting ourselves in the foot against a team that is at best even with us. I said the 2nd quarter. If that last quarter wasn't a spitting image of SF, I dunno what to say. Defenders killing our QB in 2 seconds, guys getting pushed and beat up all over the field and a defense that looks like a lawn decoration.
  6. As Keanu once said, it's quicksand. The Packers have been running well and getting the ball out fast. Now they're down 18 and got away from both. If they were starting with the ball, there's time to just slow down and get back to that, but this game may be over by the time they get the ball back. If we get the ball down 18 I'd love to see a reset and get Dillon in the game to try running again. The sit back and throw jump balls is not going to work against this team.
  7. I do. That entire second quarter was either 2019 trip to SF.
  8. I'll admit I'm more than a bit concerned with the complete and utter inability to even get back in this momentarily after some adversity. This started going south and a white flag went up. Just really getting knocked around by a team that looks a lot tougher. It's the exact kind of team they've been unable to beat for a really long time.
  9. I don't get this take. The defense isn't elite, but Rodgers literally threw them 14 points. Now they're down big and the opponent can just go right at their weakness, running the ball with a lead. This game is on #12 if it doesn't turn around.
  10. Absolutely have to seal the wound now and get to half. This can still be salvaged but not at 28-10.
  11. I still have a feeling the PAckers will win this game.
  12. Well, they were fairly dominant for a quarter and fell into some Keanu Reeves quicksand in a span of 3 plays. Rodgers crappy throw sent this off the rails. It's hard to see it any other way.
  13. I'd take a loss if the frustration leads to letting Dillon play a little bit and seeing if the bruiser can have more success up the gut than what we're doing with Jones. I'd just like to see him get a chance. Not counting on it though.
  14. Our corners miss that tackle 10/10 previous seasons.
  15. Possibly. I had a feeling about this one beforehand just due to the history of our team in this building and it bieng a problematic defense, but I thought we'd be OK. I still think we can gut this one out but looking up and down the schedule it's as loss-y as any of them this year.
  16. Great play by Davis. I thought that play was getting whistled dead on either encroachment or false start.
  17. The runs we're calling are really baffling to me. Lots of stretch stuff and things that take time to develop. We're playing into their hands with that stuff.
  18. 2017 against Cincy. 2009 in this building. Only has thrown 3.
  19. Don't know what it is about this building but Rodgers has his worst moments in it. Two 3-int games, 2 of his 3 career pick 6s.
  20. IMO that is a penalty. He's standing in the endzone when Winfield attempts to make contact. At the 2, I can see letting that go. But Rodgers already has the ball and contact is made a yard or two deep in the endzone. Because it isn't a passing play you can't really justifying delivering that hit inside the endzone.
  21. Random aside: I've disliked for a long time that holding is a 10-yard penalty. Five seems much more fitting; it just seems like it completely destroys a drive too often. Usually you get a nice play wiped out, that + 5 yards seems enough.
  22. This year’s Brewers seemed like the most “anti-swag” team I’ve ever seen in the modern era. I’m concerned they are being built in Counsell’s image. And if they continue building the pitching staff, that could actually work. But man oh man what a boring, uninspiring team to watch. This year’s Braves remind me a little of the 2018-2019 Brewers. Loose, energetic, a mix of colorful characters and swag. Ken Macha would’ve felt right at home with the 2020 Brew Crew. Half the team was comprised of one-year journeymen who basically played a regular season from March to May. It shouldn't surprise anyone that they didn't look like a close-knit group.
  23. A grocery store "promotes contact." Your Utopia sounds like a breeding ground for depression. It sounds like you are content to lock yourself inside for an unlimited amount of time. Sounds a bit more insane to me than people who think that's a bit of overkill. Look, it shouldn't surprise anyone that a guy in his 50s thinks Trick or Treat isn't necessary. I on the other hand think that 8 months into this, it's time to get on with life. Cancelling ToT isn't going to make Covid go away. All these measures at this point are like ants scrambling with granules of sand to stop some kid with a garden hose. It's time to live again. It's probably not the right year for drunken costume parties (which will also happen anyway) but ToT can be done safely and like most of the exaggerations throughout this thing, will probably go off just fine. Sorry I just think the idea is a joke. Bars are open everyday and most kids are playing football but we're going to ax ToT and save lives? We are not going to distance and mask this thing away. We had our shot and blew it half a year ago. How many things that make life worth living are we just going to keep kicking down the road until things magically get better? We need a vaccine. It's the only out at this point.
