  1. Taillon kinda looks like an older, fatter Miz that's seen a few things.
  2. Gotta take a bite of this lead here now.
  3. This will shock you but Darling loved watching Scarecrow Headstrong clap in slow motion. That was a sign of maturity even though my 7-year-old does that at soccer for his teammates.
  4. I'm assuming Freddy is starting Game 4, which I believe is the correct thing to do. He should start the first elimination game he can. I would have liked Quintana for the 5th, but whatever random bullpen thing they wanna do is fine, I guess, provided someone actually can get us out of the first inning with a 0 for once.
  5. Let's be honest. Priester is fine, he's ok. Good, even. But that streak was more randomness than anything he was doing.
  6. Not sure what you're saying. Game 5 is Saturday. So Quintana can't pitch, which is the first guy I'd have picked after Freddy. I would have preferred him to start this one, personally.
  7. I don't really get the Quintana thing. I would have just hoped Anderson or something could keep this close. I don't quite understand the strategy of tossing Quintana out there down 3 with Lockridge and Bauers lineup going. I get that it means you aren't just punting this game, but ehhh...I would have kept Quintana as a Game 5 starter.
  8. Where did I say that again? Oh, that's right. I didn't.
  9. Such a stupid post. Why would anyone watch sports if they knew the outcome already?
  10. I mean tbh if we are gonna lose, I'd rather it be like this than Game 4 of the NLCS with the Dodgers where we taxed ourselves to hell to lose in like 12 innings at 1am. Gotta launch the nuke tomorrow though.
  11. The game may not be over but I'll be very, very surprised if we mount a comeback with the wet noodle all stars lineup.
  12. I was hopeful for a sweep, but in the back of my head, losing the series was the most Wisconsin outcome I could imagine. 70-pitch 1st inning feels like step 1 in that adventure.
  13. The game just has the vibe of being an absolute wet fart.
  14. I wouldn't have pulled him at this point. Would've made him get out of it and try to give you 3 or 4 and try again in G4 if you don't find any offense. Now we put 8 innings on the pen in a loss.
  15. Darling might have to change his pants. Jesus.
  16. Requires someone to have a play on the ball, ump correctly discerned that nobody located the ball. Actually quite heads up umpiring.
  17. Gee thanks. I think we know this. 2-0 isn't the near-lock that 3-0 in a 7-gamer is, is kind of the point. Teams lose 3 baseball games in a row all the time during the season. You don't even have to go back 10 years to see a team blowing a 2-0 lead in a 5-game series. It's not like it happens all the time, but it's really not that remarkable. Plus, any series that goes 3 games without a sweep is 2-1. TLDR is, this thing ain't over. My predictions, however, Brewers 3-0 over Cubs Brewers 4-2 over Dodgers Brewers 4-3 over Blue Jays
  18. If his hamstring is significantly hurt, it's not going to get better with a day or two of rest. It would be ideal if they just won today without him and he got a full week off. It'll linger even after that, but perhaps heal to the point he can DH or play lazy defense. He has youth on his side, but hammies suck and they're the kind of thing that heal 95% but go back to 0% if you over-exert while trying to go again. You really need like a good month off at a minimum to get them to where there's minimal concern. I could see it being a non-factor in the World Series if he didn't play until then, but they need him to play.
  19. This "not stressful" game will get stressful fast. 2-0 is really nothing. Teams come back from that in 7 gamers all the time. 2-1 playing a game in Wrigley is not a far leap to a Game 5, which I absolutely want no part of. Just TCB tonight and put them down.
  20. Nonsense. We have been living rent-free there for about 5 years. Seems at odds with this: "I hate the Brewers. This is not like a cheesehead football situation where I hate the Packers, but I love Aaron Rodgers. No, no, no, no. This is hateful. The Brewers have reached almost Cardinals stature in terms of being hated in Chicago. The Brewers are completely hateable." -Michael Wilbon
