Good grief. Worthless gets thrown around a lot. But Schoop is making it hard to find other words.

Scares me too, but I think doing it at this point in the series makes sense. We have a series lead, it is very early in the game, and we need some innings. Worst case scenario he bombs and the game is still likely salvageable. I'd rather see him here than the 6th or something.

Really? He pitched excellently for us down the stretch. The problem with Gio is that he's either quite good or quite mediocre, and you can usually tell if he walks the first batter of the game. That's what I mean. Dave Bush.

Don't think we'll be able to evaluate the Schoop trade until next season. I don't even remember what we gave up for Gio.

I have to be honest, I'm not a big fan. He just seems of the Dave Bush ilk. He can give you a good game now and then, but he's just a guy. I was really happy he only went 2 IP last time. Hoping this is the same.
