  1. PHing is hard. Santana has done well with it. There is nowhere for him to play that makes sense right now. He is in the role he should be in. Other guys need to do their jobs.
  2. I can see why. Digitally handling that money and not printing that e-ticket is a lot of work, can't expect them to do it for free.
  3. There will be a dust-up tonight with one of our guys sick of his antics. That Brewers will get suspended. Watch.
  4. I didn't expect the processing fee back because I bought multiple games with 1 order and figured if any of the games happened they would keep the fee. If I bought only game 5 and didn't the processing fee back, I would absolutely contact them and ask. They should not be keeping that.
  5. Not really saying they made a bad move keeping him off the roster, but Broxton sure would have looked nice to have running at some point last night. Doubt it would have mattered with no one knocking him in, but that was the kind of game I really wished they could have found a spot for him.
  6. Cain can not sit. Regardless of how bad he has been at the plate, that game has multiple moments where the winning margin is possibly provided way earlier than 13 innings if he's not in center. I can't get behind starting Santana because the defensive alignment doesn't make sense. And he has been valuable as a PH. The Dodgers are just as tired and went through a pen worse than ours.
  7. Their much better lineup was just as pathetic through 13 innings and they didn't exactly blow the cover off the ball in the last one. That said, Yelich has to show up today and do something after running his mouth all night.
  8. I have already paid for the entire postseason. That last payment is processed today. Instead of just keeping the refund and putting it towards that, they're still going to bill that last payment and delay the refund. I don't really care, but it would be less annoying if they actually did what you suggest.
  9. I totally blanked on the World Series going 7 games. For some reason every time I thought about it the last couple weeks I thought the Astros swept.
  10. Kershaw really wasn't terrible his last time out anyway. Maybe the real blow up is today.
  11. uhhh... what? What is hard to get there? I feel it is unlikely to rock someone that good in twice 5 days but I am acknowledging the bias that if he had been shut down I would probably expect him to do it again.
  12. That we rocked him already makes me feel less confident it is going to happen again. Although if he had gone 9IP 0ER I would probably think he is going to do that again. I am annoyed that our bullpen has done what it's done all year to perfection and our offense has not picked them up at all. Not just that, but it has been our big money bats that let us down while Arcia is getting on base and Pina is lacing doubles. Last night was completely maddening. I'm not exaggerating when I say that was the most annoying game I have seen the Brewers play, definitely in large part due to the stakes, but it was terrible. We got someone on almost every inning and farted it away time after time.
  13. Listening to some idiots over the wall talk about how boring baseball is and how they can't get into. I'm going on 3 hours of sleep and I just want to smash something right now.
  14. We got it man, you think we are going to lose the next two games. I do. And I am free to say that as much as I want. This isn't the optimism thread.
  15. I don't see us coming back 10 hours after that debacle to beat the best pitcher in baseball for the second time in 5 days. This team has been as resilient as any, but that is asking for something pretty magical.
  16. Cain has to play for defense alone. I wish Santana could start, but I don't a way for it to work and he has been a successful PH, something we do not have.
  17. Me too as mentioned in IGT last night. I am too lazy to bust out a calculator, but it looked like I got the presale refund but not the SSH games. Anyone confirm?
  18. Wow man ... I know you are down after game 4, but geez. Can you please lighten up on the pessimism? The series is tied 2-2. I don't see a lot of reason for optimism at that moment. It is tied 2-2 and really should be a 4-0 sweep or at worst 3-1. We threw every arm in a 13 inning loss and wasted a brilliant performance from Guerra who now cannot be used today if needed, along with Peralta, Hader and you'd have to think Knebel. Our offense was flat-out embarrassing and now has to face three studs with one loss to give. I'd rather drop an 8-2 fart than do what we did last night. This series has been immensely frustrating to watch. If we lose it, I'm not going to have that "Aw shucks, heck of a season, boys!" attitude. I'll spend all winter thinking about how we really should have won it. That is the difference. Last night was anemic but I am really getting sick of watching Aguilar hack with 2 strikes. Feels like I am watching a gif loop.
  19. Hope you are right. But this mornings game seems like it will be the focal point of some Dodgers special release championship DVD.
  20. Sick to my stomach. Think we blew this thing this morning. Original prediction was Dodgers in 6 and will stick with that. I think our magic is up. Kershaw, Buehler and Ryu and we have to win two. We just did that, doubt we do it twice. That's getting pretty unrealistic.
  21. Even the Milwaukee radio post-game show mentioned Arcia’s lack of bunting prowess as part of the reason why he may not have been directed to move Pina over after the leadoff double. So while most of us would agree with ARod’s jerkiness, he seems to have a legitimate point about a gap in Arcia’s game. To be honest, there is some lack of what used to be fundamental baseball with the current roster not just with Arcia. It isn't our roster, it is baseball. That stuff is a bonus asset these days. Bunting isn't taught in youth baseball and is a disappearing skill.
  22. Can't wait to see another visiting team clinch a pennant in Milwaukee. Hope they are getting the champagne out in the visitors' locker.
  23. I can't second guess pitching or pitching strategy. I just can't. 1 damn run in 13 innings, from a pinch hitter, this result is what they deserve. So ****** P.O'd I don't even want to watch this crap again.
  24. Kershaw Buehler and Ryu and we are going to take 2/3, TWICE in the same series. Sure. Sayonara Brewers.
