  1. Their lineup is just ridiculous. I know we knew that, but watching last night and just really paying attention it is insane. The guys off the bench are 30 HR hitters. There is not a bat in that lineup that gives you a break. I knew they would rally eventually but was hoping the 8th was it.
  2. The pricing changed from when I purchased seats at the presale to the Brewers insider presale. And it shifted again a couple days later. That is why for the NLDS, you may have noticed tickets were more expensive for some games but only in certain sections. That fluctuated daily based on the demand.
  3. The pricing is dynamic. It can change based on demand.
  4. I really like our chances with LAD, they have been a very boom or bust team. If we get the best of the boom that is bad, but I like our chances. But this is exactly how I see a potential series. It either goes the distance and we shock the world or its a 4-0, 4-1 thing the other way.
  5. Just list them yourself on stubhub.
  6. Good luck taking care of it. Exhibit A for why I stopped doing this.
  7. Just glad I purchased the strip so I am assured of at least being in the building. I too would understand if that's all I am able to get.
  8. I'm not. People buy them up and list them WAY too high hoping to strike gold. The fact is, the team did this in 2011, there are 4 games, and the WS is a bigger deal. Plus, sports-at-the-venue demand has dipped a lot with ultra HD 4k and the prices of the games and concessions. A lot of people with the means to go simply don't want to because they enjoy being at home. Different experience at home than it was in 1982. As I have said, if profit is your game, the best strategy is list them generously below stubhub prices 3-4 days out. You will get the eager beavers thinking they found the deal of a lifetime only to the see prices dip drastically the day of and day before.
  9. Yeah, I anticipate even the presale will be very different than the last two rounds. I wouldn't be surprised at all if all you can get are terrace seats or the bleachers or something. And like I said, would not be surprised if the allotment for SSH is dropped from 4 to 2. I just hope this conversation comes to fruition!
  10. You can scan them all from one phone.
  11. Not saying you're wrong, but where are you seeing that? Because I'm still seeing SRO for tonight for $100.
  12. No. Within 10 days after day of game, so I believe that would technically be tomorrow if you include today as a day to process, but weekends complicate things. So I'd give it until Monday.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised either if the Brewers drop the allotment for the WS from 4 to 2 for presales.
  14. Everything drops on the day of, but I would not bet on that for the WS. The demand will be through the roof, if it comes, there will only be three games, and MLB reserves a very large number of tickets for media, special guests, executives, etc. I mean thousands of tickets. All of the Brewers games would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you get a shot at tickets and can afford it, I would just do that and not split hairs over a few dimes, if you are able.
  15. You have to be careful to refrain from giving too much power to one guy. While he has by most accounts done a good job, it is naive to think that it's just him. I am not saying don't promote him, just saying that the sky is not falling if and when he leaves and there are other quality people who can do the job.
  16. I don't think you will be getting in the door secondary market-wise for less than $400. And that may be conservative.
  17. End of next week would seem a good bet based on how it has gone. Probably SSH presale Wednesday/Thursday, assuming they have won or the series is still going on. I would expect an email with more details tomorrow going out to SSH.
  18. Also, as far as the barcodes, I've noticed in ballpark app that I have to manually refresh it a lot. Even if I have just opened the app, it is sometimes caching from hours ago or the day before.
  19. Yeah. If you have to sell some, it is best to price them well below market a few days out. You will undercut the people really trying to take advantage but still make more than those selling day of and day before.
  20. I don't get having anything but glowing positivity. Nobody thinks the Brewers are winning these series so they can be perfectly lose. They will get to open and likely close with a raucous home crowd. The Dodgers have been a big boom or bust team all year right to the end. Anything the Brewers achieve at this point is gravy. Yes, opportunities are limited for a team like the Brewers, but there's no shame in any outcome at this point, and I say that as someone who thinks they're going to be competitive and stand a good chance to win this series.
  21. I don't think it'll ever be fully understood by the community how lucky we got with this guy. The biggest fans may know it but could have gone about 99 others ways and all of them worse than what we got.
  22. 630 start is maximizing eyeballs on a weeknight. Any later and it misses the prime time sweet spot of 730 on the east. Boston plays on the day of the 4pm start so that one makes sense to me, even if I don't like it. I think it's fine. Couldn't be happier with the home games, even though I'm going to miss game 2, just sold my tickets and died a little inside.
