  1. Yeah, they won't do that. That adds 3 or 4 days. It's already pushing November most years. There's still a game every night. There's just one during the day 3 or 4 times during the lcs's. I know there are days where they both play, but I just assumed they tried to pack those into the weekend. I have no recollection of it at all, but you're right, if they both went 7 games, that's a 2-week LCS.
  2. I would think not for the LCS. There are only 2 matchups. You just have them go every other night so one is on every night.
  3. I agree that something is up here. Haven't seen anyone mention that during yesterday's game, JJ tweeted "nope" to a user who wrote "the Brewers have Hader for the 8th and Jeffress for the 9th." That Tweet has long since been deleted. But something is amiss about all of this.
  4. How would one go about doing that? Unless you personally know a pool of people dying to go and pay at least face value, it is just not that easy to do. The reality is that you end up with eight people who say "maybe," four who "have to check with person xyz first," three who "have to try to get off work," 80% of whom you never hear from again. If people weren't so flakey to deal with it would be a plausible solution. But after someone has fronted, in some cases $600 for 4 tickets to a game they can't attend, they are going to sell them the fastest and least annoying way they can. This is just a hunch, but if the Cubs are eliminated tonight, I bet the Brewers release the barcodes.
  5. Arguing over not using JJ in a game that we won. I've seen it all, lmao.
  6. Noon game would have been atrocious so I'm happier but still disappointed.
  7. Where'd you see the times? EDIT: MLB.com lol
  8. They got lucky last year in the NL with three massive markets and the hosts on polar opposite coasts.
  9. I believe they had a day game when they played Philly, but it was out there.
  10. This really stinks. I'm pretty sure I can't go to either one. Work would be fine, but I don't have a babysitter to cover a few hours or pick up kids. I would have to take them to the game, which, yeah, no. So disappointed.
  11. I found the issue. If you made a listing before they made the change, you can't change the date to day of. It will let you edit it, but it won't save correctly. You have to delete the listing and start over. But you're right, they did change it.
  12. I saw you posted this earlier, but when I went to prep a listing it was still saying in their software that I needed to deliver by the day before the game, so that freaked me out and I didn't list them. Is that not the case?
  13. Yeah, I knew I could get a bit more, but I'm sorta having a morality attack and only truly care about getting the face back. I was very easily able to drastically upgrade from my SSH pair in the terrace to Row 8 behind first base, so I feel I've been treated exceptionally well as a cheap-o SSH and am not really looking to cash in.
  14. I just sold at the default price SH suggested. So, comparable to other seats I assume. I highly, highly doubt there will be any issue getting face value for any seat against any opponent.
  15. I think the Brewers ticket strategy could end up having the opposite of the intended effect. If people had been able to sell them yesterday or today you would get the fresh hype train and Brewers fans flooding the market for tickets. Not super likely Cubs fans buy NLDS Game 1 tickets at MP before they know they're even playing. Now, if the Cubs get in, you will have more seller panic, people who can't attend day games, and a much larger fan base with a higher number of people able to take off work to come with little notice.
  16. I'd rather not see them again. We won the last battle, potentially ruined the season. It would great for them to just go away. I don't want to drop a playoff series to them. Just give me COL.
  17. And Hamels is not exactly some sure thing lights out guy at this point.
  18. Just so you sell your tickets to a Brewer fan and not, assuming they make it, a Cub fan. This has been beaten to death around here, but I don't think it's realistic for people to be choosey with who is buying their seats when they will have 5 hours to sell them. It is easy for people who didn't spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a game they can no longer attend to make rules around who should buy them. If it is the Cubs and their fans fill the place, the Brewers have no one to blame but themselves for the barcode hoarding that forced people's hands and the stupid MLB scheduling. If the games were at night I'd have no doubt it would be Brewer-fan dominated against any opponent. Especially after the fan showing yesterday.
  19. For a bit of reference, I listed my SSH pair for Game 1 and 2 last night, as my plan was always to upgrade my seats at the presale and unload those. Both games sold within 5 minutes of my listing.
  20. Yeah, after they know who is going where, times will be official. You can sell tickets day-of on stubhub. Just with a much shorter turnaround time obviously.
  21. I expect Cubs to win as well. I don't know what I want. The Cubs give us a better chance at better game times. And better re-sale if MLB screws us and people can't go. Really upset about the rumored times. Ugh. COL has to be annoyed that nobody is taking them seriously.
  22. I doubt that. It will be packed either way. People underestimate how many don't work first shift, and tons of people will be taking off, skipping class, etc.
  23. I knew Friday would be day. Thursday is too that's awful. I may not make it to either one. That's awful.
  24. That Cubs Twitter account has been douchey all year.
  25. Here's a beautiful post: "I have to tell you all, as a Cub fan in attendance today, that was a pathetic outing by our fans. I was drowned out countless times by Brewers fans in the bleachers of all places. I am disappointed. That's all. Let's get it tomorrow, because today was terrible. Absolutely terrible. I'm very much not a fan of our pitching choices, either. Just bad all around."
