  1. Kurkijan mentioned killing himself and I just immediately felt bad for what Twitter is going to do to him.
  2. I'd prefer Hader not pitch today, unless he strikes out the side lol. Something about the raucous crowd booing him relentlessly and calling him a racist and then he gives up a meatball and the place goes nuts. It would just be too much for me.
  3. I know. That's the best part. 11-8 is literally one game away from an even split of 19 games.
  4. I read that last night and it made me sick. "We shouldn't have to do this." What a whiner. On another forum I saw them all complaining about the unfairness of the schedule, and how they'd have 110 wins if no one was injured. They're the only team that had anybody get hurt this year. I usually am logical and dismiss that an entire class of fans can act a certain way, but I truly despise the vast majority of their fans. I think it's that they have this arrogance of Boston or New York without virtually ANY of the winning.
  5. This team has come back again and again this year. Too many times to count they've gone down a run or 2 in the 6th, 7th or 8th and come right back. You can't quit on them. So if it looks bleak today just remember to hang in.
  6. I think you only get 5, possibly 4 from Chacin today unless he's throwing a no-no or something. If he gets shelled, obviously less. But I think if this is close it is turned over to the pen early where we become the favorite. We are all in for this game.
  7. Cubs lineup is brutal but they have barely scored more than we have this year. They have been extremely streaky and scored 0 or 1 run more than anyone in the NLC, or something like that. Let's hope we get the dry version today.
  8. Weird that Perez isn't starting with his line on Quintana. He is a career .364 hitter on him and seems like a no-brainer.
  9. I have the physiological signs of anxiety and it's not yet 9am. Increased heart rate, pacing the halls, etc.
  10. I could be wrong, but I still think the Brewers will have a much better showing than usual if they end up with the Cubs.
  11. It is never that simple, not for us anyway. I expect it to come down to the 9th inning, it can be no other way... I have a rare optimistic feeling about today. I just feel like the stars have aligned for us. All nonsense of course, but I just get a special feeling about this team. I don't sense impending doom that has defined my fandom but rather a great day in team history.
  12. I can't handle this. It would just be amazing if we come out with 6 runs in the first or something.
  13. Will there be any way to stream this game at work if there is no cable option? I'm asking for a friend. Seriously, my "friend" may go nuts if this is not an option... If you have a computer at work and streaming isn't blocked, yes, always. Reddit MLB streams. Any game you want at any time in HD.
  14. But they are there, and opportunities are next to impossible to get for teams like us in MLB, so let's win.
  15. Well, it's safe to say tomorrow is either going to one of the most glorious days in Brewers history or extremely disappointing.
  16. Seriously?? It's a 12:05 start?? That's so lame...I thought it was 3:00?? It was 3, but moved because LAD/COR have a game too. One of them has to fly to CHI/MKE the next day.
