I would think they'd HAVE to go Quintana the way he has owned the Brewers.

Perez has to start tomorrow, right? 8/25 on Quintana. I would think he starts at 2B.

Kind of oddly deflating. I wish I were happier about the situation, but it feels sort of anti-climactic to have to do this all over again. Feel like I should be happy, but I'm disappointed we have to the Wrigley thing again.

You don't understand the Schoop hate? He is at the Mendoza line with a pitcher's OPS. I'm ok with him and think he will provide some big hits to come, but he's been awful.

It is blacked out on MLB.tv, just like the Cubs game but that one was on Fox so it didn't matter. Just go search "Reddit MLB Streams" thank me later.

Don't wanna pile on, and Hader got us here, but I've always preferred Jeffress. I just feel safer with him.

If it comes to one game, the one that's going to burn my soul is the July 15th farce in the rain against Pittsburgh.

Probably forgone conclusion, but the NL Central winner has clinched the top seed, prior to this game actually. Cubs can't lose 70 games, so in the event the Brewers pass them, they don't either.

This doesn't make sense and is nonsense, but I've always preferred a double to a solo shot when you're down. It seems like it's more likely to get a rally that way than if you just get a run and the bases stay clear. It's nonsense, like I said. Just a weird preference of mine.

You're forgetting how good Christina Aguilera was in July. If she never was injured we'd have this division lead +10.

On the plus side, I can probably free up my night if the Cubs win. I don't really feel the incentive to watch with the home WC locked up unless we can catch them.
