  1. You're the one who cancelled your season tickets. That's been addressed as an emotional reaction already, and I didn't. Again, I'd love to see those of you won't pony up $340 to be SSH, react to spending $7k and then be locked out of your presale before getting what you want. Then call your rep and get 3 hours of silence. I'm sure that wouldn't upset anybody but me. Troll someone else.
  2. The widespread issue was poor and incomplete communication. The checkout system should have been communicated in the email sent out days prior, not on the page you order tickets at the same time as thousands of other people. It isn't user error when the staff has to manually duplicate the work of an automated system. That's Project Management 101.
  3. It is dynamically priced. It is most likely the lowest demand game because it probably won't happen and people don't want to front cash for that.
  4. Yes, that's exactly it. You have no idea who else is waiting for 10 a.m., you click what you want and try to check out. It's become really obvious in six pages now that there a couple of posters who are clearly just bitter and salty that they don't get first crack at the tickets and will be left with leftovers or nothing at all.
  5. What volumes of issues are you referring to. I mean it's OK that you screwed up the process but what leads you to believe many others did the same. A couple of you sure are salty about this. It's OK that I screwed up the process? Didn't realize I had apologized to you. The ticket office wasn't answering phones for about 3 hours yesterday and spent the afternoon manually processing orders because of this. When I did contact my rep, he told me it was a "widespread issue." I only personally knew 3 other SSH and all had the same thing happen. There are four posters in this thread alone that dealt with it. Do you need anything more explained to you or are you appeased?
  6. I am curious for the 10-pk holders, did anyone search best available? What was left? Curious what will be left for the public.
  7. That was there, however it was not in the email that went out, and I (and I assume many others given the volume of issues) just went to buy now immediately without reading. I'm not sure it would have made a difference had I seen it because of their lame processing system. I hate all sites where you can't open new tabs to do things.
  8. Anderson's last few starts haven't been great and he's still averaging 4 1/3 and just over 1.5 runs. Something like that would be fine and he is easily capable of better. We need to hit the ball no matter who is pitching.
  9. It would require a collapse and two teams catching fire. They are in. It's a matter of where they're in.
  10. So, on paper this appears to be the most likely game we drop in the series. Paper can be worthless, but pulling this one off would obviously be big. They all are at this point. We all want the sweep, but 2-1 is realistic, if the Cubs could go 1-2 T-TH, that'd leave us 1 back heading into the final series, with STL needing to fight for its life.
  11. His drug of choice was weed, which I don't think is even tested in MLB. Not saying that's it, but just putting it out there.
  12. At this point it's darts at the wall. Sick, season-ending injury and he's distraught, personal problems, quit baseball.
  13. Impressive from Burnes. Hard to do what he just did, after a delay and after he was ready to go.
  14. Let me explain something to you Rick. SSH are the ones who assume the risk. They pay the Brewers every season without knowing if the team is any good, while you sit by and take on nothing. Four times in 40 years, they've been rewarded for doing that. IMO, what they choose to do beyond that is up to them, not you. It's really simple. If you want to be in the position to decide what to do with a playoff strip, become a SSH. Why haven't you done that? You must not be a very loyal fan. See how stupid that sounds?
  15. I didn't say I was selling them? I was just asking, in earnest, what exactly would you do? I personally want to go to as many games as possible, but you really overestimate your sphere of influence. I'm also annoyed by anybody, in any facet of life, who tells other people how to spend their money. I can wipe my boogers with the tickets if I want. Go away.
  16. Is this a joke? Why does it rain only when we pitch? Is this the Truman Show?
  17. It feels like Jesus hit 30 home runs in 2 months and has two since Father's Day
  18. Which is good.........if we can score. It's good regardless. You want a Cubs team with something to play for to face the Cardinals next weekend. Exactly. Sticking with them is nearly as important as overtaking them. Much more realistic if nothing else.
