    I don't know why you are so hypersensitive, but the talking Braun, the Iceman bobble, the Bill Hall track suit and a few others I could list if I stopped long enough to think about it all were at one time "rumors" that some claimed did not exist. I didn't realize it was such a terrible crime. If anything people are glad it doesn't exist. I know I am, if it in fact does not. Try to lighten up a bit buddy. It's a ceramic toy.

    I would love to see Gomez signed long-term. For the right price I think he's an incredible bargain just because of what he brings defensively and on the bases. You forget he's 25, too.

    I asked how much for just the Hart and they told me $55 shipped. I think that's pretty reasonable.

    It's either 500 or 1000, but I have it on good authority from an inside source (an employee). No link. But I can promise you there is an alternate. It's going to be given out at the club level entrance only. Not being placed in suites.

    Those things are out of control on eBay. Hitting 60-70 bucks. Not sure why; they aren't any more rare than the retros.

    I hate this for a lot of reasons. The winner of this game is obviously throwing their ace and can't use him in Game 1 of the DS. There is also a possible awful scenario where a WC from a very good division has a very good record and loses the playoff to an average team that happened to be the 2nd WC. No one will look at the 5th team in as a true playoff team. All they've done is made the regular season 1 game longer and made the one game playoff a yearly required event. And seriously, why? Was the end of last season not exciting enough? I remember the final nights being pretty damn good.

    The chain of custody is not a technicality when you consider that this collector kept urine in his fridge at his own house. Suddenly a can of worms opens. He's got Braun's urine in his fridge? Does he have someone else's urine in his fridge? Does he do this routinely? Has urine spilled in his fridge? That right there is already enough to clear Braun.

    Does anyone really hate a player because of the team they play for - so much so that you wouldn't want him on your team? I don't get that. These guys don't care about the teams they are on. If they make mine better, I don't care who they are.

    Didn't he make something like 11 or 12 million last year? I doubt he's taking a cut. He had a pretty decent year at the plate. This had nothing to do with what happened over the weekend. Before that story broke the Brewers were the frontrunner and then said there would be no talks with Ramirez over the weekend. This was coming regardless of what happened to Braun.

    I have a feeling he's going to be cleared of this. Not leaving any wiggle room in his texts to TH. Not saying it's a misunderstanding, not saying it was a mistake, he's saying he's totally innocent and is kicking and screaming to get to tell his story.

    There's so much STL can do now without all that money tied to one aging, fading player. Still very good, but he is aging and fading.
