    This feels like a stretch just to gripe on MLF. Yes, there is some effort to mirroring your actions between the left side and right... but I'd be more concerned about a vet G that couldn't swap in a pinch rather than the coach (who is monitoring him in practice) saying he can.

    Possibly. But does it matter if he is a LHP vs LHB BP matchup or a bulk appearance If the opposing team's biggest hitters are LH, doesn't that make it a better matchup than a borderline RHP?

    Yes, Dart is out for the season. Winston is... still Winston. I'm sure Coach John Harbaugh talked to his brother about JJ and feels he can provide more than he did with the Vikings.

    The Packers sign Laken Tomlinson from the Cowboys PS. Looks like an aging vet, but was just under average PFF scores the last 3 years (55-62.5). They also sign Mekhi Becton to the PS. This one is more interesting. Becton is 27, had very high scores on his one year with the Eagles (14th ranked G for PFF), but flopped with the Chargers last year. But then in the offseason it was discovered to have a labrum problem and had surgery to repair it. Now healthy, he signs with the Packers. Sadly, both players raise the floor of the OL as they should know how to block and when to get out of their stance. If Becton bounces back from a down year last year, he could be a great find. Becton and Belton on the right side of the line could really move people... those are two very large men. If nothing else, they are experienced vets with excellent credentials that can help coach a very young OL.

    Maybe we can flip the script... years of great BB in the regular season and terrible playoffs. He had a terrible regular season...can it be a great playoff?

    Ohtani, Freeman, Muncy, Olson, Harris, Bush, Bellinger, PCA, Happ(Switch), Harper, Schwarber, Carroll, Pederson, McCarthy, Nice to have plenty of lefties to shut down our opponents' best hitters. For the OP, I don't fully trust Harrison as I would've in the first half, but enough to have him on the playoff roster. Having him get a resurgence of the first half would be huge. The only chance to see that this year is to keep getting some chances.

    Go look at my posts previously... I literally said I'd pick Harrison over Wilson. But I think Grant Anderson will be considered. The vast majority of the site didn't want Ortiz starting after the first month or two. His turnaround has been amazing and a big reason our offense has improved. As we get to the playoffs, though, you can't go off emotions of favorite players and such. You have to be playing the hot hand because this isn't the place to "hope" someone turns it around.

    He hasn't exactly been the pitcher from the first half who contributed so much. Everyone believes in his long term, but it isn't a given he can contribute positively in the short term.

    A 5+ ERA with the Brewers doesn't make him a lock.

    I don't know that it is a given, but he is trending the right way.. The last roster spot probably comes down to him, Senzatela, or Anderson.

    Assuming 13 pitchers, it is probably Harrison or Senzatela. Unless you plan on a BP game and drop off May...

    With Harrison's upside and recent improvements, I think I'd put him on the postseason roster. I haven't counted RPs yet, but if you are at Wilson or Harrison, I'll take Harrison...

    Yes, Watson had the better "PC" answer, but I can't fault Kraft for answering honestly after that game either. It took me (a fan sitting at home with nothing but time invested in this team) until 1AM to ramp down enough to sleep. I can imagine that for a player like Kraft (who played poorly and was part of the problem) had his emotions ramped up pretty high last night. If they asked him - why did you lose and he blames the fans, that is a big difference. But he didn't... he answered a question about how it felt to be booed by his fans. Spoiler: it feels like crap. I'm just saying before you lose respect for a player... consider the context in which he says something. (of course maybe our emotions are still amped up too? 😔)
