  1. The Packers survived the Giants.... barely. But injuries are mounting. Jacobs remains a question mark. Wilson is a good backup and Brooks is a decent third down back, but neither are close to bringing what Jacobs can provide. Golden is missing a lot of opportunities being banged up. Will Reed finally return? Our TE group is in major flux. Musgrave can't seem to hold onto the ball or block. Fitzpatrick is who he is...an "ok" blocker and not much else. At least JJ McCarthy is all over the place in his throws and his OL is struggling. Keep him scrambling and our D should have a good game against him.
  2. It seems that over the last 5 years or so have become far more aggressive in prospect development... pushing them up the chain faster to MLB level. Thus, fewer prospects languish until they are forced to be added to the 40-man. If we were a low-ranking system with no one to add, that would be a worry. Since we are easily seen as a top 10 system, it is probably more of an anomaly to have no one to add. Certainly will change next year...
  3. Well, I guess the Bears still have some hope, then. 😉
  4. I wonder how much playing GTJ at SF has impacted him too. We really don't have someone that can really play SF decently. Doubly worse with Prince out.
  5. No backup catcher? (Note: I let Brock know that the template probably needs to be modified since there isn't a natural spot for the backup C). I think non-tendering Vaughn if he doesn't accept $6M is silly. He had 1.3 WAR on his short stint with the Brewers alone. I know he has a poor track record, but his arby project is something like $7.8M and a FA signing is around $9M/WAR. Seems like an easy decision.
  6. OSS being pessimistic? Is water still wet? 😂 As for the bears, I think their upcoming schedule will iron out some of those "flukes" for them. Eagles, Lions, Packers (x2), Vikings, 49ers, Steelers. Only 2 teams with losing records (Vikings and Browns) and the Vikings beat them once already.
  7. Right on cue... 😂 Clearly, he is better when he tried to do less and play within himself. Seemed like last year he didn't quite get how to work with Giannis. This year, he is much better.... evidently until he gets to work without Giannis again.
  8. This is coming from the Payroll Blueprint Tool - Brewer Fanatic So rather than being snippy in your response... maybe try it out yourself and tell us what you think the budget will be.
  9. Are we living in a world where Kuzma is becoming Bobby Portis part duex (slightly worse on 3s, greatly better on D)? AND outplaying Middleton?
  10. Why in the world were they rushing a 4th down??? They have TOs, they had 1:40 in time... WHY NOT GET SETUP RIGHT???
  11. Wicks has showed up today, but that drop hurts...
  12. I prefer having the time and not risking a fumble for 5 yards
  13. So you're saying that even good coaches make dumb decisions??
  14. Thank you Philly for two really dumb plays to stop the clock for us.
  15. Hello Micah? Are you there? We could really use some pressure on the QB.
  16. Quite often, the play has open WRs, but Love has been missing them. Certainly can't handle the blitz well or pressure situations. Love has 13 TDs, Jacobs has 11 TDs... yet we complain that MLF runs the ball too much... Love is not the QB to just put the game on his shoulders...
  17. So when does Love get any criticism for this game? MLF being torched, but Love looks terrible out there too. Bad read, can't adjust for the blitz, loses his eyes in the blitz... Bad Love game.
  18. Lightning struck once with Rasul Douglas... I do see Corey Ballentine is still available. Seems like an easy button with our lack of depth.
  19. Nah... I think Sean West has a leg up on Smith!
  20. Man up or become a Viking's fan! 😛 The injuries going on right now is kind of crazy... We have 1 fully healthy WR (Doubs) right now. We lay an egg against Carolina, injuries mounting, and playing the Eagles on MNF... Looks like a clear win!
  21. He won't be a lockdown defender and does struggle against bigger players, but he is getting positive reviews on his D overall. The game I watched, he (and Rollins) were both getting dinged for every ticky-tack touch. Needs to gain some respect. And people shooting 49% from three don't make the minimum.
  22. When all it takes is to lose one player and the flood gates open... it means you need another player for depth. I'm not sure who would've helped (or if Asante would or not), but we don't really have anyone who is high performing either. Hobbs is looking like a washout. At best, Nixon and Valentine are low-mid starters. No harm in pushing them. Plus, depth is still pretty weak.
  23. Or he just gave in... No way to follow a manager that pulls pancakes out of his pants!
  24. Certainly hope William's middle finger will be ready to give it to the Dodgers next year! 😉
