Sales on StubHub (via Milwaukee JS): Game 3 (Oct. 26): 21% of tickets were purchased from Wisconsin ZIP codes. Game 4 (Oct. 27): 28% of tickets were purchased from Wisconsin ZIP codes. Game 5 (Oct. 28): 25% of tickets were purchased from Wisconsin ZIP codes. Compared to Tampa zip codes accounted for 2 and 3% for Games 1 and 2 in Milwaukee. -
And I wouldn't say we are firing on all cylinders either. Our BP is fire, but our SP has struggled, our D has had too many yips, and only a few guys hitting well.

I'm really curious if Gasser might be a better fit against Tampa than Miz or Henderson? He isn't focused on high K rates, but lives on poor contact. If he has good control tonight, he might eat innings quickly with low pitch counts. I do like the kid's demeanor, too. He doesn't rattle easily and seems to be very focused out there.

Interesting how Peralta's K/9 rate is down to 7 with Tampa after being 10+ with the Brewers. Likewise his BB/9 rate is down 2.4 or about 1.0 less than with the Brewers. Seems like he is pitching to contact more and relying on the Tampa D to handle it. He has done well in the playoffs (2 ER in 15.2IP), but even with Tampa was 3.25/3.93 ERA/FIP, so not quite as dominant as with the Brewers. And five inning Freddie remains the typical. I love ya man, but knock him out early and start eating the pen again.

The league needs the next gen of HOF QBs to sustain. You have the old crowd (Stafford, Rodgers) and one obvious mid-career (Mahomes) and the rest are more Hall of Very Good level or a few first/second year QBs that are unknown yet.

I was pleasantly surprised by John Williams' (cue the music!) performance after being thrust into action at center. He wasn't perfect by any means, but nothing like having your first NFL snap come at a position you have lightly practiced in the middle of the game. No botched snaps, pretty decent handling of stunts, and a few poor blocks... but pretty good all things considered. Cisse continues to show himself as a legit starting CB. I think we found something there. Really curious as to why Zeitler isn't starting yet. -

With Cooper, Franklin, Hargrove, Ford, and Brinson out injured, I figured we'd have troubles containing Swift in the run game. It wasn't great, but he wasn't the reason the Lions won either. Really frustrating to have so much control over the game (just not the refs) and still lose. Dropped passes, missed FGs, dumb penalties (and bad penalties) show that we can't get out of our own way when a win drops in our laps. -
Honestly, it is nice to have a quick turnaround after Sunday's self inflicted flop against the Lions. I didn't expect a win in Detroit, but none of my concerns (run defense) were the reasons we lost. We dropped (literally) a winnable game and shanked (literally) a win into a loss. Carolina is licking their own wounds after being drubbed at home by the Buccaneers. Injuries are piling up... players keep dropping the ball... Zeitler still not playing... Smack needs to recenter. And a short week to deal with it.

Add the trade for Peralta that was a total flop for the Mets (though the same could be said for the Brewers in year 1), gave him away in a fire sale to Tampa, and have him completely bounce back to dominance. Puts a major spotlight on what is going on in the NYM clubhouse. -
This is always a bit of a silly notion to me. They didn't hit them. Uribe pitched to the same guys, the others didn't We've seen all their best RPs too - except the closer Their closer will be rusty.

They've spent a lot of time on how much of the Brewer BP has been used... but TB has used a LOT of their BP tonight with most of thier 3 LH RP being used n both games.
