As long as he pitches in the Cubs series I don't change a thing.
  2. GB12
I don't really care what order they're in at this point, but it's so great to have 3 top ten catching prospects.
  3. GB12
I thought so seeing it live too, but the replay was very clear that he was out. Why are teams still running on Kendall so much?

I would love to have a CC Brewers bobblehead. It's a shame that we were unable to somehow do it this season. I would not be against it.
  5. GB12
I like our chances if that's the case.
  6. GB12
Yeah, even if it gets changed it's no where near the experience of what it would have been had he got the call right when it happend.

The tavern of the game winner of tonight's game really got me thinking about this. How many cities are there in our state that are named after countries?
  8. GB12
Really? A waste? Does that mean that I have wasted my time watching the games for the past 20 years that were not in HD?? That's before we had a choice. I don't watch TV in black and white anymore either, or limit my viewing to four channels. So do you not watch the Brewers games that aren't televised in HD?

BTN will be channel 63 on TWC (bye bye Jewlery Television). I'm guessing that we'll only get one game at a time. Really though I'm ok with that because now I can at least watch all the Badger games. Huge step up from last year when I could only get half the games.

He should buy the Cubs and move them to Atlanta
  11. GB12
I don't see anyway we do that to Billy(again). We can't keep moving him every year.

No way would I want KRod. I'm strongly against giving big money to closers. They can be found for cheap. Kolb and Turnbow each put up 39 saves on a low paying contract and Torres is doing well this year. We have Torres under contract still for next year too. You're right on when you said if you're going to spend big money on a pitcher it should be a starter. I'd be pissed if we gave KRod big money over Sabathia.

The only cities LeBron is going to are New York, Chicago, or LA. His Nike contract doubles if he goes to one of those major markets. I believe it's currently like $100 million. A 5 year max contract plus the doubled Nike contract would get him $200 million and he'd stay in the NBA.

Players only I think it looks more like this 1. Donald Driver 2. Prince Fielder 3. Al Harris 4. CC Sabathia 5. Ryan Braun 6. Greg Jennings 7. Ben Sheets 8. PJ Hill 9. AJ Hawk 10. Aaron Kampman

I think that if Yost wants to start Counsell so badly it should be at second base. Problem with that is then he'd be batting leadoff.
  16. GB12
I think Prince is fine, and most of the team is fine. I worry that Manny Parra isn't fine though.

Only thing I can think of would be using a Z ball. http://www.mansionselect.com/zreba.html?productid=zreba&channelid=Nextag It wouldn't be anywhere near as nice as that product and it might be hard to work through a whole play, but it'd give you random bounces. Sorry, that's all I got.

He's a baseball manager, not a head football coach. He's not busy during the entire game. I mean Russell Branyan was at the plate. What could Ned possibly be managing there? Telling Russell to swing for the fences in between every pitch? He doesn't have to go and get right in the middle of it, but he can at least get his ass off the chair.
  19. GB12
I don't think Manny would come out of that room alive.
  20. GB12
JJ needs to be in this team's long term future. I am fully convinced he's worth signing. As for the actual point of this thread, I definitely think Prince needs to take a seat for a while. If he's not on the bench for at least one game I'll lose (even more) respect for Yost.
  21. GB12
Followed by Rickie Weeks = 3
  22. GB12
Yeah, I don't like that our lineup is filled out by positions rather than players. 2B SS LF 1B RF 3B CF C P I mean I get that he doesn't want to mess with the whole lineup if he doesn't have to, but there are minor changes that can be made to prevent things like Counsell hitting so high.
  23. GB12
    1. Sheets 2. Gallardo 3. Villanueva 4. Hardy 5. Braun
  24. GB12
Do we get ESPN blacked out again?
  25. GB12
I like to see atheletes do these kind of things. It shows their appreciation of the fans that supported them for so long. I'd expect Sheets will do the same in the Journal if/when he leaves this offseason.
