    Belling is reporting that an agreement has been reached to place the Madison station downtown, which he says he has confirmed and will be announced within the next 2-3 weeks. He also claims this will dramatically increase the costs due to relocation costs for the people currently living in the path.

    I am also annoyed by DISH's HD absence.. the other day the Brewers were on a channel (444) which has an HD alternative, but the game was shown only in SD. That's ridiculous.

    Just heard Macha on 1250 with Doug and Mike. In one breath he made it sound like Suppan was his first choice to be the fifth starter ("he could be that guy"), then was asked when Narveson would get a shot at being in the rotation and gave his usual "let's see how it shakes out, trying to put the best five guys out there, blah blah blah" answer. Not very helpful, in other words.

    I don't know when the 4 ip, 1ER outing was but it wasn't 3/25 In his second-to-last appearance before the regular season, Sheets gave up three runs, nine hits (including three doubles and a homer) and a walk in six innings in the Triple-A game at Papago Park.     I'm watching but certainly not too excited about this season. I think the last two episodes were at least somewhat interesting (compared with what had immediately preceded them, anyway) but I'm still waiting for something "exciting" to happen.

    Did anyone else buy tickets for the tourney games being played at the Bradley Center this year? They took my money last April and I haven't heard a thing since then. I believe tickets were supposed to be delivered no later than mid-February and I think we're basically at that point. Just wondering if anyone else has seen their tickets yet.

    My impression is that Hammond is not really trying to compete this season but hoping to reshape the roster after he is free of some of these contracts. Obviously the public stance can't be "We give up" but essentially that's the reality.

    He's never been much more than a 42% shooter so I'm not sure how he's supposed to cure our ills in that department.
