  1. Deal him to Kansas City for a bag of baseballs. He thinks he's miserable now? Wait until he's playing every day for a terrible team.
  2. Bill Hall can stick it. Stop trying to pull everything. Stop sucking in the field. Start hitting righties once in a while. Then, maybe, we'll let you play every day. Now, I understand if he's upset because Weeks has been worse. Weeks has been terrible. But there isn't a second baseman hitting .360 with double-digit home runs in Nashville.
  3. I'm at the point where all I can do is give up. Clearly, Yost is going to have to slap Sheets on the mound in order to get fired, and not even Yost is that stupid.
  4. Just when I thought Ned was on his way to a Dusty Baker impersonation, he, well, impersonated Dusty Baker. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. Gained a lot of respect for Parra here, no matter how it turns out.
  6. Again, your only .300 hitter is due up behind him, and you're willing to risk an out on the off-chance that you can steal third?
  7. Why would you risk taking yourself out of an inning when your cleanup hitter and only .300 hitter are coming up?
  8. Ned = idiot In other news, water = wet
  9. Hockey fans may remember the success Bruce Boudreau had after jumping from the Washington Capitals' AHL team in Hershey to the big club. The Caps were 6-14-1 when Boudreau took over, and he led them to a division title and a playoff spot. Part of the success came from his familiarity with the young stars on the Capitals team, as many of them played for him in Hershey.
  10. I can only hope. There comes a point in time where you can't just post a picture on your blog of a guy with his head up his posterior. It stops having an impact. Not that I would know or anything. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. Look at the standings. We're in LAST FREAKING PLACE. Then take a look at the boxscore from last night's game. Three guys in our "regular" lineup are batting below .200. This is beyond embarrassing. I don't care who gets fired anymore, as long as it isn't Jack Z, who appears to be the only person in the organization that is doing his job. I may not be a naturally patient person, but I don't know how there could still be people who are exercising patience with this crap team.
  12. Let's see... Suppan got the squeeze in the first. Ball three to Ortiz should have been strike three, one pitch before he hit a three-run home run. Cameron didn't come close to going around. Not a good start for us in this series.
  13. Sure, but Kendall isn't on the Red Sox, and their strike zone is different than ours. Clearly.
  14. Weeks is actually wearing his sunglasses. Dillon's were flipped up off his eyes. Coincidence?
  15. Strike one and ball three to Ortiz went to the exact same spot. And then Ortiz hits a home run. Whoever this home plate umpire is sucks.
  16. McCarver is missing the point. Hart's bunt sucked. That was the problem. Ellsbury's bunt couldn't have been thrown in a better place. EDIT: Thank you Kenny Albert. Leave it to the play-by-play guy to make McCarver look like an idiot.
  17. In fairness, it's not like he deserved any calls with the way he pitched. Dude can't throw half his pitches for balls and then blame the umpire for it.
  18. Suppan = overpaid garbage But I'm over that. Oddly enough, the first pitch to Hardy was a ball twice when Ortiz was batting. Just strange...
  19. So, it's a good thing I'm in South Dakota, unable to watch the game, and watching hockey instead? Good. I figured that would happen.
  20. On the bright side, he can't be any worse at managing than he is at coaching third base.
  21. Where did Ned learn how to be a manager? Heh...isn't it interesting how all these things tie together? Who better to teach a guy how to underachieve than Bobby Cox? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
