    Not to steal this tread, but what about maybe doing something with Hall? Just a crazy thought (humor me). Sign Bonds (I know...) he plays left and gives us a LH-bat. Braun bat to 3rd (I know) and then move Hall, et al for a starting pitcher...just a crazy thought...but....

    Did someone compair Turnbow to Doug Henry? Wow...interesting. Wish I would have thought of that.

    Good...too bad for Turnbow...but good move (obviously) for the 'crew. Was 1/2 expecting Russell.

    That's what I was thinking; that Corey did a nice job in a brief period last year. Maybe he adjusts to different expectations fairly well. Another thought, if we are still going to go with the pitcher #8 and Kendall #9, this could give more validity to Corey hitting at the top (never mind Braun and Prince moving up a spot, too).

    I guess I'm not going to worry about the oil supply anymore. Screw that 401K and kid-college fund too. This is sort of a relief. I now say trade Laporta for Oswolt now!

    I really do enjoy posts that discuss the mechanics of playing the game. Interesting stuff. While thunder is correct, we can ask why a player takes a certain approach and what are the possible effects. For example closing off a stance, or hitting more wide-open.

    Mark Tauscher's Dad (Dad) is a friend of mine; seen Mark play many highschool football and basketball games. I suspect pretty common in Central Wis (little off-topic).

    Few years ago, stopped at a local place called "Art's" on the way home. One of the young ladies we chatted baseball with said that she had some friends on the team named 'Keith' and 'Wayne.' She didn't understand why me and my buddy looked up to her after that.

    Since my 7-year old is dominate when it comes to TV...I'll leave out Hanna Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody...I've seen all of them... Little bit of baseball, but much more radio or on-line for me. Battlestar, w/o fail South Park from time to time Local news (God I sound old) Some hoops when possible

    Maybe this is just my uneducated bias, but I was under the impression that Gagne would have some limits on his innings an appearances, thus building a pen that had a couple of other options in the closing department, as needed. Again, maybe this is just my thinking and not what 'the plan' actually is.

    Of couse it really isn't 14 pitchers with the Sheets issue and the refusal to use Turnbow.
