  1. Im Brad Soderberg fan. Thought he got raw deal @ Wisconsin (nothing against Bo, of course) and certainly got jobbed @ St. Louis.
  2. Buffalo is also a good call.
  3. The Chris Farley thing would be very funny.
  4. Obscure question. I'd go with pork, the other white meat.
  5. From what I understand, whatever parent claimed the child on their 07 taxes would recieve the tax rebate...
  6. Everyone (who draws a paycheck) pays SS and payroll taxes before they pay income taxes. To exclude those would be unfair at best. Since the Feds are something like 1/2-trillion in debt (on the books) and another 2-trillion (off the books for the war effort)..."laughable" would not be the term I'd use in relation to current economics. I'm just going to throw this out there...if it is 'our money'...isn't it also 'our debt'?
  7. sgtcluels...all depends upon what you shoot for...quantity or quality.
  8. We all pay about 6% in payroll and then SS tax on top of it. Wisconsin income tax actually covers more peopel then the Feds do.
  9. Most of the $ will come from Foreign banks. The current deficit spending and debt for that matter doesn't include any of the $2 trillion from the current war(s). Be that good policy or not, the American people are not (no have they been in a long time) told what the current obligations are. Eventually, this is a drag on the macro-economics of a nation. I would respectfully submit the only way to successfully 'spend' our way out of a recession would be to pay down debt/deficits once the economy rebounds. There is a limit to how much Federal paper others will hold.
  10. ...this is not how it was suppose to end...Good luck to the Giants, but dang...I think we might have seen the last of #4...
  11. Agreed. The first time that TGJ starts in place of Corey Hart because a hard throwing RH is starting against us...
  12. As pointed out, his stats at least give him some consideration. How much does the injury, et al factor in? To me, that is the tipping point.
  13. John, I'm just throwing that out there. It is part of the 'Damien Miller Story." Enough time has gone by that (I assume) many of the hard feelings have passed. I'm not sure what most players would have done. Shoot, I don't know what I would have done. I remember @ the time, feelings were pretty raw.
  14. Miller was a class act... Not going to disagree, but I suspect there are some players back in 1994 that might say otherwise...
  15. Wow. The drawings look pretty neat. If they pull off somethign close to this, could be a really nice place!
  16. Just my 2-cents on King. I loved the Bachman books. The Running Man and The Long Walk were awesome (again, just my opinion). The Stand is hard to top. I haven't' read much since the start of the Dark Tower series, but I'll frequently pick up the 'old stuff' and read a bit. It, those kids feel like the ones I grew up with (minus the clown). Maybe King is a great one that has stayed to long, but when he was great...wow.
  17. My rub with the AL game is they tend to be so long.
  18. I heard that on 670 this AM. Was rather stunned.
  19. Maybe the Reds are deciding to do the opposite of what they think is the right thing to do...then it will work out. Seinfeld episode?
  20. Hookers have services on a sliding scale. Plus, some of this is just the "cost of doin' business."
  21. What Igor said.
  22. Cleveland Browns. Bernie was pure magic!
  23. Wow. Well written. Feels like living it all over again.
  24. I'm not saying that it shoulb be Hunter, but someone who could play center could be the way to go. Really the 'new guy' would be replacing Mench/Jenkins. Billy would improve the IF defense and I'll assume is not going to hit worse then he did this year. Bran would be the question, if you would want to bounce him around the diamond. I know this isn't going to happen, but just saying...
  25. Just throwing this out there. If Hunter is signed to play CF (I know the odds of this are about .01%), Hall could go to 3rd and Ryan to left. Would be an upgrade on offense as well as in the field. Gross, TGJ and/or Dillion could round out the OF.
