I was thinking about that as well. You responded quickly. Fun.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

disapointing. And very sad. I hope he can get clean. His whole life is ahead of him. It would be a shame for him to just throw it down the gutter.
  3. jwaltz
Wow. I didn't think he would sign either. Good job by the Angels. Edit: I wonder if the Angels paid the tab on the TJ surgery?

You know, Erik you could stand to be a little more polite. "read posts" isn't polite at all. It is quite rude. We aren't here to offend people. We can respect others and be polite. You did do a good job looking at successful major leaguers. I liked it. Good job. We still don't know the success rates of the three groups. Which group had the worst success rate of graduating players to the majors? Which group the best? What I would like to see done is a comprehensive study on the success rates of High School vs. College vs. Juco. To my knowledge that still hasn't been done. What types of careers those that graduate have is also something to look at. Maybe they can look at ALL prospects from 1990-present or something like that. Obviously we couldn't do it ourselves. But that is what BA pays their writers to do. Hopefully someone will do it someday.

Wow Alcides Escobar is doing pretty good for such a young kid. Could see him in Beliot next year. Would like to see more power from Al but I like the 11 walks so far. He doesn't seem to be a free-swinger. Has anyone heard how his defense is? We need someone to get a picture of him soon.

I think you are on to something. Maybe the Juco's should be listed as a third catagory. There is enough of them to do that. It would be an interesting thing to do these studies over again but this time treat the Juco's as a separate catagory.

Hopefully we can keep this offensive outburst going.

I think Across The Nation by The Union Underground would be a good song for DK. Or maybe Whatever It Takes by POD, Bodies by Drowning Pool, or Hocus Pocus by Gary Hoey. And I nominate Cowboy by Kid Rock for Kieschnick.

Hopefully Hendrickson wins and Claussen loses.

And they don't lose 5mph in two years like Bobby Brownlie.

Maybe that poster is magic. Isn't Brady Clark gritty? He would probably be a "Brewerfan (some new moniker)" for his great grittyness. Dave Burba too. Jumbotron at Miller should flash "BurbaTime!!!" whenever Dave comes out.

Sheets should dominate today. We should be able to pull out a win today. Hopefully it won't be as crazy as yesterday.

I hate to sound like a sadist but even though we lost the game we might have won the war with Prior going down. While I like Prior I have no sympathy for the Cubs. They got what they deserved for letting Dusty abuse their pitchers. Zambrano. You're next!!! It's possible the best thing that could happen to Prior is being shut down for the season. This would allow him to heal properly and without Dusty constantly abusing his arm.

Kolb and Sheets made us proud.
  15. jwaltz
Jack just imagine Rivera with a Brewers jersey on.
  16. jwaltz
I think if the pitcher will have to bat for the NL Livan will PH and then pitch the tenth.
  17. jwaltz
    Finally Helton is in.
  18. jwaltz
Mo Rivera is know in. I guess it's game over. Unless someone can pull out a miracle.
  19. jwaltz
I hate the Cubs too. And Yanni sucks. Scooter sucks too.
  20. jwaltz
I HATE the Yanks and Bucs. And I have been standing since Sheets came in. And still standing for Gagne.
  21. jwaltz

  22. jwaltz
    GAGNE!!!!

I always wondered if I was the only Jeremy Waltz. I'm not. Cool.
  24. jwaltz
Oh, yeah if I'm not the one you know then I am not related to your guy. My Waltz family only goes back to my grandfather. We were the Walz's before then.
