  1. If we were down 4-0 in the 1st against any other team I wouldn't feel good about the game but against the Pirates I am still oddly confident.
  2. Bush must not like the trade rumors so he is going to bring his value as far down as possible.
  3. I could see Redd being packaged with someone like Ersan (although I hope not) mid season to bring in someone of more value. Redd is clearly not going play for the Bucks again so they might as well trade him rather than have him sit.
  4. I am just happy that after years of dissapointing seasons, Weeks is finally starting to reach his potential. I would hate to see him traded now and would love to see him locked up long term.
  5. As many others do I think Posey should get it if he can continue to put up good numbers. However, I have a feeling Strasburg will end up getting it in the end barring a huge collapse due to all the hype and his name.
  6. I like the Dooling signing just because he was the best backup pg available. I think Hammond has done a great job this offseason not only putting us in a better position to win this year but also for the future as well.
  7. I understand it is the Pirates and you can't put too much into one game but I really think Cappy needs to be given some more starts to see if he is back to his past form. He looked good tonight.
  8. Oops, thanks for pointing out the mistake which I fixed.
  9. I really hope Cain gets a start in the next couple games before he inevitably gets sent back down.
  10. I hadn't seen this posted anywhere yet. Between June 7-13 the Milwaukee Brewers were filmed for a "Hard Knocks" type show which will air on Tuesday at 8pm on ESPN. Sounds like it could be pretty interesting. This includes the Cubs series which the Brewers took 2 of 3 and the Rangers series which the Rangers won 2 of 3.
  11. Corey has a nice lead going into the 2nd round
  12. Wow, the Train lead singer's voice is really annoying
  13. According to JSOnline, Redd isn't going to come back until February. I am glad to hear this (although not necessarily that he is injured) as I think the Bucks are a lot better off without him.
  14. It would be interesting to see what they would do at 2b for the rest of the year and next season. As much as I am excited for Lawrie to get to the majors, I would hate for the Brewers to rush their 2b prospect up again.
  15. I couldn't agree more Fondy. While I am not a huge Lebron fan and the espn special last night was absolutely ridiculous, it is nice to see a superstar choose a team based on perceived chance to win a championship over money. I think it is going to be fun to watch Lebron, Wade, and Bosh play together although that will probably only last half the season since every nationally televised game will have the Heat. However, I can't really criticize the Cavs fan's reactions since it wasn't too long ago that I had a similar reaction when a certain QB left.
  16. I am definitely all for trading Hart as I am not convinced that he will be able to keep having as much success as he has had this season. I definitely don't want Sanchez due to age but would take Bumgarner in a heartbeat.
  17. I think I would prefer for the series to just end when Carell leaves but if they kept the show going I think it would be best to just have someone promoted within and maybe add 1 or 2 new minor characters. Dwight taking over could probably lead to some really funny episodes if done right.
  18. So this is slightly off topic but if Hart continues on his hitting streak into the 30's or 40's, do you think that would affect whether or not the Brewers go through with a trade involving Hart. I would have to imagine the possibility of bringing in fans due to the buzz about a historical streak would have to be in the back of their minds. Obviously, this is hypothetical as Hart still has a ways to go.
  19. Please don't let your first blown save come against the Cardinals Axford.
  20. The fact that he wanted to come play here makes this contract look even worse. The general thought is that you have to overpay a little bit more in order to get a player to come to a city like Milwaukee but clearly he was already open to the idea. I am really hoping a lot of the money is non guaranteed. I am sure he will be a good player the next couple of years but this contract could look really bad after that.
  21. Terrible contract if true. Seems to be another Gadzuric type contract. It is the 5 years that really bugs me. Hopefully there are some team options.
  22. It sucks that the Brewers won't get a chance to destroy Suppan but I guess it's also good that the possibility of him somehow shutting us out isn't going to happen yet.
  23. I am just a casual fan (basically every 4 years for the World Cup) so I have a question for those who follow soccer more closely. Obviously there has been a large number of blown calls in this World Cup which has brought a push for replay. Have blown calls been this common in past World Cups and the Premier League or is this just a case of a bunch coincidentally happening around the same time? If it is this common, has there been a huge push for replay for awhile or just starting?
  24. Aside from Lawrie, that could possibly be the lineup next year.
