You can't argue with science. To be fair, a regular RF probably would have made that catch on the run. Plush leading off and then the big boys. If they can get to the bottom of the inning without giving up too much, they'll be in good shape.

Jackson is not throwing the ball well at all right now. There is no reason we can't get back in this game.

Fixed. I seriously hope McGehee doesn't trot out of the dugout for the second inning. I know this can't be an easy time for Green to make his debut, but the kid can hit and he can field, two things McGehee can't do.

Either way they have to win two games, so it shouldn't matter. They were definitely better off letting Gallardo get his regular rest. However, I wish they would have gone with a Narv/Bullpen start tonight. Oh well.

Attaboy Corey. Seriously, get Narvy in for 2 innings. Hawkins for 2 innings. Saito, K-Rod, Ax. There is no reason they shouldn't be planning on having Saito-K-rod-Ax pitching 3 innings tonight. No matter what the score is, play those guys.

There's a reason this team hasn't gone far. This team needs somebody on the bench who has the marbles to think outside the box. Honestly, why not just go with a bullpen start? Throw Narv for three innings, Hawkins for two, and then take it in.

Get Hawkins in now. Two innings from each reliever. Burn the pen. If you don't have the marbles to burn through your pen in a literal must-win game, you're not even going to be in game 7.
