Brewers, it's time to put your kill face on. I'm impressed with how they've been able to keep the Cards off the board after the first. That outfield still scares the heck out of me though...

Pretty much. Some reporter needs to say something to Roenicke about this. He is completely clueless, I honestly don't see how people can defend him at this point.

Oh dear... I'm at a loss for words. I've thought Roenicke had been doing a better job in the playoffs, but this may be his worst move to date. Kotsay is probably as bad at CF as Braun would be.

Ouch. Another bad break for Milwaukee. That would almost certainly have been a triple. Of course, with Prince coming up the odds on Braun getting in aren't too bad.

It certainly wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, and it's not over now. They have a long way to climb back, but it's certainly possible with this offense. Even if they can't claw back today, the series is 1-1 going to STL for 3 games. Gallardo, Wolf, Greinke vs. Carp, Lohse, Garcia. I think the Brewers have just as good a chance to win 2 of those as STL does, although I am often overly optimistic.

I'm really starting to think Marcum is toast. He has been just brutal throughout the last 6 weeks. I think it's only fair at this point to start considering Chris Narveson for a start in this series. With Yoga going vs. Carp, I think the Crew has at least a 40% chance to win that game. Wolf goes against Lohse. Greinke vs. Garcia worries me, but I have a good feeling that Zack will put together a good start. Tonight sucks. Still a lot of baseball to be played though.

The Brewers seem to be on the better end of the strike zone calls so far. Hopefully Marcum can find a way to capitalize on that FAIL by Pujols. Not something I expect from a guy like Pujols there.

Well that was a huge pitch. Was that a missed hit and run call or what? Also, I got a kick out of Albert watching his home run. So shameful of him to enjoy something as serious as a game of baseball.

How quick is the hook here for Marcum? Hopefully he can mow through the rest of the inning and then get through the bottom of the order and then roll, but I'm concerned to say the least.

2 obviously gives them a better chance of winning it all, so I've got to go with 2. However, you should add the following stipulation: Albert Pujols signs with Cubs for 10 years at $300 million, Fielder to Cardinals 7 years $160 million.

I thought an AB in one of the Arizona games that wasn't very close would have been a nice gesture to get him into the playoffs. Kotsay and Counsell have both found at-bats, so it's not like it would kill them to let Green take a few hacks. At this point, I wouldn't think about starting him (I'm sure everyone agrees), but I do hope he gets into a ball game.

We should probably wait until he has another dominant appearance, just to make sure. Will there be Tang and Marshmallow Squares at the first club meeting? If so, I'm in.

This. The open roof was a huge advantage to the Brewers, with Braun, Fielder, and Betancourt homering. -
