  1. Hopefully the bears are taking all of the offense the city of Chicago can muster for today.
  2. Jones for starting running back.
  3. Defense looking decent today.
  4. I think they look ugly.
  5. This level of fandom and dedication should be acknowledged and applauded. The only thing left for you to do today is get loud and blow the roof off MP. Bravo. Props to all of those who will be in attendance today. I hope you come away from today's game with lifelong memories of wild celebrations and the smell of champagne in the air. Correction. The only thing left for him to do is buy me tickets too! pretty please.
  6. I'm curious what Davis wants(besides obviously going 5-5 with 5 homers). Is he secretly hoping to hit 247 again just because of the novelty of it, or is he just sick of ending at that number. Or maybe he doesn't care and just wants the 5 homers.
  7. If the brewers stay in San Antonio only to be replaced by one of the Texas teams after a stadium is built, I will not be happy. Mark A may have a perfect situation though. He could help pay for the stadium in exchange for some assurances. Not sure if that is legal, but you would have some stability at triple A, in a nice market. It is nice that the brewers relationship with the Elmore group is strong, so hopefully it isn't another Nashville situation. I just read an article about it, the Major League club can provide no financial assistance of any kind. I don't know why that is, but that's the way it is. What if Mark bought 1 "share" of the minor league team. Could probably at least round about help pay then?
  8. If there's one player that will want to treat tomorrow like it's game 7 it's yadi. If there's one player on that clubhouse you don't want to piss off, it's yadi. At least that's the straw I'm grasping at.
  9. Really need a nice easy win tomorrow to rest the better bullpen arms with potential close games Monday and Tuesday.
  10. Wow, identical home and away records too. We've really closed the gap in run differential too.
  11. I was about to say not so fast, but giants get out of a first and third no outs jam.
  12. I don't recall, but how did all the contract stuff work out with obtain? And is this guy under the same rules, under 25?
  13. Nelson Aguilar.
  14. The conservative play calling has been my 1 gripe for years. I get it we run the ball well and don't really have the passing playmakers, but we've started every drive of the game with a run and need a big play so just try a play action.
  15. Yelich would have homered there. Thats all i asked for! A chance! WE CONTROL OUR OWN DESTINY AGAIN!
  16. I think its smoltz who said he thinks teaching pitchers to go deep into games will be the next thing. How have teams not figured this out yet? Just pitch better so you can pitch more!
  17. Carp channelong his inner aguilar. Probably cost them a run cause i dont think they get ththe dp on that inning ending grounder.
  18. After the games yesterday I was kinda wished we were playing the cards again and the cubs had the tigers. Still time for the cards to prove me wrong though!
  19. Rockies clinched a berth last night. They are 3 up on the cards so they can not the them, just the Dodgers. Our best case scenario if we tie for division will be either Rockies and dodgers tie too or dodgers fall to a tie with the cards. At least that way whoever we play, assuming we lose, will also have played a do or dieish game on Monday as well.
  20. [sarcasm]But how can he hit?[/sarcasm]
  21. Win or lose they have to pitch Kershaw tomorrow. If they win they are still only a game back of the Rockies. Lose and they are still only a game up on the cards and even if they lose to the cubs again gotta try to win to clinch tomorrow.
