Well, I don't think McGehee is quite playing to his potential yet.

I'm not sure. I had the volume kinda low, but I heard best. Maybe he meant bench or best bench, which would make more sense.

thank you . . . I was swearing the same thing to the TV and my wife gives me this look and tells me, "okay, relax!" I understand that the pitcher spot is up next but come on, he's already in scoring position if he just stays there.The pitchers spot being up next is another reason why he should have stayed at second, not that Yo needs clearing.

I think the 3 front-runners are trying to play a game of leap frog. Pirates in first after Friday, Cards after yesterday, and Brewers today.

I could almost understand waiting through the allstar break and seeing if it would help him. Like someone else mentioned, see if the couple of days off let him clear his head or figure stuff out. But he showed no signs of it last night, to the point that I wouldn't even wait the full series, if that was the original plan. I wouldn't even bother making it a platoon. I don't know what Green's minor league splits are, but he can't do much worse than the .150 McGehee is doing against lefties. But they still have Wilson too, if it's needed. -
What sucks is that Hart was doing so well in the 3 hole, but back in the 5 hole he is sucking. Maybe the AS break cooled him off...I dont know. This game is just frustrating. The break hasn't helped Casey at all :/

From the way its been stated, Fielder and Ortiz are captains because they won the last two derbys. Ortiz last year and Fielder the year before.

The MLB realignment thing goes into effect this offseason and the DH is eliminated. Thus eliminating quite a bit of the competition, driving down Prince's price.

No way he ends up in Milwaukee, but it's nice to dream.Did we dare dream of Greinke this summer? But here we are. Now imagine our line-up with Reyes and no YuBetI don't know about getting him this summer, but personally Ive been holding out hope that we could sign him this winter at least. Might be able to do it if we don't end up keeping Prince.

I saw that on ESPN last night and I thought to myself, since it was against Philly, I wouldn't doubt if half of them were Philly fans, so only about a 5k jump from the normal Pirates crowd.

Tyler Colvin's BA is down to a spectacular .099. Thats right, UNDER 100! So I guess for guys like Betancourt, Gomez, and even Nieves, it could be going worse. And another out drops it to .097.
