    The thing about seguras play the irked me was that it looked like the tag pushed his foot off the bag. I would have challenged it though cause he might have kept his toe on the very edge of the bag and you never know if one of the umps in NY sees it that way. And if youre wrong you only have half an inning till the 7th. I dont know if its ron or just the coach in the both thats looking at the plays and relays if the play should be challenged, but whoever has the last say is being pretty conservative. At some point you need to challenge some of these close ones if only to get a feel for what may or may not be overturned.

    Such a painful loss. Too many mistakes down the stretch and 1 hoerible call from the refs (when brust stole the ball). Jackson has made a handfull of game winning shots the past 2 years, and we knew he wasn't gonna give the ball up cause he never doea in that situation. GO UCONN!!!

    What a game! Total domination throughout. Can't wait for Saturday! About the only thing I didn't like about the game is that whoever is in love with the cross court camera angle, using the camera from behind the opposite backboard, needs to be shot.

    Wow, just wow. What a great game to watch. Love the toughness they showed coming out of halftime. Looking forward to the next game which I believe is Thursday.

    Watching the Stanford-New Mexico game at the end when they were reviewing who gets the ball just before the flagrant foul stuff happened, it kind of bugged me that Stanford get awarded the ball because there wasn't a foul called when their player slammed the arm of the NM player causing the ball to go out of bounds. Also, I not convinced the VCU player committed a foul at the end of regulation on that 3.

    What happened to all those teams interested in yuni as a starter? Were they all in Japan?

    The guy who only had Morris said he didn't want to vote for anyone from "the steroids era". He also said he is done after this year.

    I think the three between Rivers, Kaepernick, and Cutler would all be pretty solid options. Cutler has probably the best potential going up against that philly D though.

If both aren't traded before spring training I would be surprised. Seems like the FO already considers Walker and Franklin gone.

    I think Ross might have been safe. It looked like his leg might have arched over the glove and he wasn't tagged until molina brought the glove up into his stomach. It was hard to tell though. It would have been pretty difficult to overturn with instant replay if he were safe.

    My thoughts after seeing the replay are, after missing the catch and laying on the ground, it looks like middlebrooks picked up his legs to try and trip craig. But, craig tripped on middlebrooks' upper part of the leg, so the raised legs had no effect on the play. I'm not sure if the umpire called the interference on the attempt at tripping, with the raising of his legs, or just the fact that craig tripped over him. If its just because of the fact that craig tripped, I have issue with that, because that means that middlebrooks' only options were to not dive to try and save the throw or to dive like he did. IMO, he has to be allowed to make a play. If its because he raised his legs, thats at least just a boneheaded play and I can't fault the umpire for making the call on that because at first I thought that might have been why he was tripped. Either way, its a crappy way to lose a game in the world series.

    The fact that something like this cant be overturned without instant replay is so wrong. I don't blame him for initially blowing the call, nobody can watch the glove and bag at the same time, but there has to be some way, either just himself after he realized what happened or one of the other umps saying something, that he call can be corrected.
