That was odd. I understood this play calling the first time love was out, but you're telling me he still hasn't learned the playbook enough that we can have an actual offense with him?
Commentators made it sound like someone limped off the field and the backup didn't notice. Not sure that's on rich.
Loves knee really seems to be effecting him. I'd be willing to finish the game with Willis and hope love is ready for Detroit.
This will be an interesting challenge. Curious if this team is closer to Alabama game badgers that don't stand a chance agaisnt good teams without their starting qb, or first half USC badgers that's actually a pretty good team(even if they choked it away in the second half).
That does bring up a good question. What would happen if after a big gain down the middle, 2 recievers just lined up to snap the ball and everyone else on the offense just stopped and got set just to spike the ball. Obviously you need to wait for at least the ref to set the ball, but you could catch a defensive player offsides. Would that cancel out the illegal formation? Is there something else in place to call for something this blatant pseudo cheating that doesn't go into effect for a play like the Vikings ran because they at least tried?
There was a clear recovery by the Texans so it would have been Texans ball. However I don't know if there was an angle you could definitively say backwards in order to overturn the call.
Agreed. Worried about him seeing that. Seeing him walk off like that feels good. Might be out the rest if the game with a concussion after seeing him get hit in the head like that though.
